Berthold's death

Bethold's POV*

I walk around my home thinking about Annie and how she could of died... all the different thoughts of her being killed were burning my chest.

No.... Annie must be still alive... she isnt dead... but I never told her that I loved her...

I sit down on the ground looking up at the sky. Tears roll down my face as the thought of her dead was killing me.

"Hey Berthold?" Reiner asked from behind me. I turn my head and quickly wipe away my tears from my face.

"Yeah?" I quietly say looking at the ground.

"Look im sorry that we could save Annie but she is dead deal with it" as reiner sternly says this I furrow my eyebrows in anger. I clench my fists as I try to not get too angry.

As the anger was boiling up inside me it was far too late to turn back. I stand up in front of Reiner and I threw a punch at him in the face.

Reiner looked back at me in shock but also anger.

"What the hell was that for?!" He screams as he trys to return a punch. I grab his fist and twist it sideways.

"We could of saved Annie! But you were a coward to turn back!" I shout as I kick him in the back of leg which sent him flying to the ground.

'Calm down' my subconscious says. I ignore it and I drag Reiner by his hair into a corner.

"You bastard!" I scream at him as I kick him in the balls which sends him flying to the ground.

"Bertholdt... calm down" Reiner says as he groans in pain.

"No! You are the reason that Annie is dead!" I shout as I grab my knife from my pocket.

"Bertholdt..." Reiner says as he begins to stand up. He knew what I was going to do but I am nkt going to stop. I then held the knife up to my neck and slashed my head causing a lighting bolt strike down.

"Fine if you are going to be like that" Reiner then finds the knife on the floor and then cuts his arm off.

There was something off though... as I look down I saw that only half of titan form had formed. I looked at Reiner who has all of his titan form, formed.

"Reiner look im going to fight... fight for Annie" I say trying to reach his mind.

"Bertholdt.... if you are going to fight me then I wont back down" Reiner responds to me and I nod at him.

"We might end up killing each other"  Reiner says but Ignore him and concentrate on killing him.

"Bertholdt, Ymir and christa died as well so its just us two now" I nod but I looked at him in anger and frustration.

Reiner begins to run at me but I hold out my fist to protect me. As Reiner punched my fist something unexpected happened.

My arm completely disappeared.

'Its fine..... calm down Bertholdt' I reassured myself so that I could try and calm down. I tried to let the steam from my titan form surround me but that didnt work either.

Reiner charged at me once again with full force which sent my titan form flying backwards. I struggled out of the flesh of my titan and I flew out of it.

I connected my wires to Reiners back and lanched myself at his nape.  Just as I bring my swords down Reiner clenched me within his fist.

"REINER!" I scream as I try to get Reiners sanity back. Reiner turns his head to me and punches my body which sends blood spatting everywhere.

"Goodbye Reiner..." then Reiner drops my body into his mouth and I started tumbling down to his stomach. My vision blackened.

"HEY GET UP!" A voice shouted at me which causedy eyes to shot open.  My eyes widen at the voice as I regnoise it.

"Annie?" I say standing up and looking at the figure.

"So you died as well Bertholdt?" Annie said putting her hands onher hips. I nod but I realise that Annie appeared to have gashes and nails were sticking out of your fingers.

"Who did this to you?" I point at the nails.

"Oh that, well Levi did that but the rest was from this world..."  she says while turning around and looking into the distance. I looked around and saw nothing but blood everywhere.

Suddenly a massive pain shook though my body. I sherik in pain and fall to the ground.

"Hello Bertholdt, Annie has told me alot about you..." A feminine voice says. I look up to see a pink haired girl standing next to me smirking down at me.

"Who the hell are you?!" I shout at her. I look down to see a knife weided into my stomach.

" oh you dont need to know that but just to say your healing abilitys do not work in this world" the girl says but she suddenly falls to the ground with Annie on top of her.

"Be carefull with him!" Annie hisses at the girl and slams her fist into the girls throat.

All of a sudden black figures crawled across the floor towards Annie.

"ANNIE!" I scream as I try to stand up but something or should I says somethings were holding me back.

"Well well seems you have something for bertholdt..." the girl says standing up and she starts walking towards Annie.

Out of nowhere a samari sword appeared and the girl grabbed it and traced a cut on Annies forehead.

"Stop it im begging you!" Annie cried out in pain. The girl laughed as if it was preasure to see Annie in pain.

"Wait! I should be the one that gets tortured" I say staring into the girls eyes.

"Fine then but just so you know im Yuno Gasai" Yuno smirks at me and starts to approach me.  Then instead of a samari a axe replaced its place in her hand.

" I wont go easy on you then even though you are new." Yuno says hammering the axe down onto my leg. I sherik in pain. I look down to see that I only had the top half of my leg left.

"Annie..... I need to tell you something..." I say looking at Annie. Annie looked up at me with tears steaming down her face.

"I....I love you Annie...." I say weakily smiling at Annie. Her eyes widen and she finally smiled at me.

"I love you too Bertholdt" she says trying to struggle out of the figures grip.

"Aww how sweet a little lovey dovey moment" Yuno smirks at me and cuts my arm off.

"Fuck you... you bitch" I say gritting my teeth in pain and anger.
