Music blared from the cafeteria speakers as hungry students practically inhaled their food.
One class in particular was more ravenous than usual, each one of them wanting seconds, even thirds! I wonder what the reason for that could be?
"Ah, training was so hard today! Why did teach have to introduce such crazy techniques!" A bright blonde haired male cried out in disdain, placing his tired arms on the table in front of him.
"Eat your food, Kaminari. Lunch rush made extras for us today!" The redhead sat next to him stated positively through a mouthful of food.
"Dude! That's so gross! Don't spit on me!" The blonde in question cried out dramatically, flailing his arms about as if to block off the 'germs'.
"Ugh. Boys." A pink girl giggled with the brunette sat next to her, the both of them laughing quietly at their classmate's antics.
"Hey guys! Has anyone heard about that girl from the shopping centre?" A black haired student asked his fellow class, each one of them looking invested in the conversation.
Yes- even the grumpy ones.
"Hm. I do recall Midnight-sensei mentioning something about her. I assume she is staying in that recently built building on the outskirts of the gate. Perhaps we should ask Aizawa-Sensei?" A very tall girl stated, soon looking at her classmates for a response.
She garnered a lot of nods, each one of them content with the idea of investigating this sudden mystery.
The attention towards the topic was soon lost, however, as no one had finished their food yet.

"Hey little listener! Guess what!" A voice shouted from outside my room, making me groan in disdain.
I huffed and placed down my book I was halfway through reading, and shuffled towards the door. I knocked upon it, telling the person on the other side I'm ready for it to open. It made a nice click as it was unlocked, and it swung open, revealing the brightly coloured pro hero.
Except- he wasn't wearing his hero suit. That's.. weird? He's wearing normal civilian clothes, they look outrageously cool! He has a nice fashion taste.
"Uhm, yes sir? What did you need?" I asked him, feeling rather underdressed in my usual havoc wrecking outfit, compared to his glamorous attire.
"How about a tour through our lovely school, yea? Lessons are ongoing, however I've gained special permission to keep my eye on you and show you around! How about it?" He asked, a large smile gracing his lips as he waited for my response.
"No."
He sputtered, nearly dropping his glasses. "What do you mean? Do you not want a tour? I was under the impression she thought I was cool" he muttered the last part under his breath as he reached down to his pant pocket, pulling out a shiny phone with a large, bulky charm hanging off it.
"Give me a moment, please? I need to talk things through with Erazerbuddy." He said, his smile slightly downturned from disappointment.
"Er yea ok" I said, turning away from the door and shuffling back into my temporary room. I sat on the bed, sitting silently in thought.
Perhaps I should take whatever dumb opportunity the pro heroes give me? They can't be that bad.. right?
Ugh! Shut up brain!
As I sat there acting like a fool and punching my head in disdain, mr present mic waltzed back into the room. He picked my hands off my head and shook his head slightly- silently telling me to be careful.
..what. Is,, is he caring for me???
"Hey little listener! Sorry to ruin your mood, but I've been told you don't have a say in the matter! It's customary for UA to not allow anyone to stay in their rooms for a full day- that includes all pro heroes and hero students staying within our vicinity! And, in your case, people who used to be vigilantes!" He shouted gleefully, pulling me up off the bed and pushing me gently towards the door.
I grumbled, stumbling over my feet as I tiredly walked through the doorway. The air outside was crisp and the sun was glaring down at me, as if to punish me.
"Ah, why is the sun so strong ? It is still early, right ?" I ask the off duty pro hero, earning a shrug from him in response.
We walked towards the front gates in idle chit chat. He asked me about my life, so I responded with the best I could. There's no need for me to hide it anymore, right?
"Right, I've been told to warn you. Today the first years have hero classes, so it can be rather hectic. We shouldn't bump into their classes, though, so don't stress! Shall we get started, little listener?" I nod my head in response, following wordlessly as the pro hero led me through the long halls of the school.
The school was confusing, each floor a different structure from the others. The only saving grace was that the cafeteria was on the bottom, so that was the easiest to remember.
After we walked around the inside of the building, he took me to a tree just outside; overlooking a field.
"I know I said I wouldn't," he began, scratching his chin, "but I couldn't not. You need to see them in action! Even if you don't want to. Look!! They're coming out!"
I looked over to where Mr Mic was pointing, only to frown at the site I saw. It was the damn hero wannabes who captured me with absolutely no regard for my safety.
They walked onto the field, each and every one of them looking as smug as ever. I thought I was getting somewhere with my hatred for heroes, but eventually I've gotten no where.
Mr Aizawa, from yesterday, was out there, parading all of the hero wannabes out to practice. Their outfits were just as flashy as ever- why do they have to prove that they 'want to battle', and that they have 'better morals than you'. It makes no sense.
Mr Mic snapped me out of my pity party as he called out to Mr Aizawa, making our presence known. Each one of the hero wannabes snapped over to look at us, as I scowled at them.
Some of them waved, some of them frowned- usually hero stuff, right?
Mr Aizawa waved something to the class as he walked towards us, sauntering slowly across the hill.
"Join the class. I want to see your abilities. Uh, don't think you're being forced, more so that you have no other option. Ok? Come now, chop to it." Aizawa stated, bringing my reluctant form down to his class.
Oh. Seems like I'm meeting the class properly today?
