Lillian, being the only one with healing experience out of the four of them, was stuck watching over the mundie girl when Hodge was busy. She sighed softly as she made herself busy in the infirmary. The girl had curly red hair and her face was full of freckles. There was something distinctly familiar about how she looked, she resembled Orion so much it was uncanny. Lillian shook the thoughts from her head. It's not as if Orion was hiding a secret family from her or the others.
"She reminds me of my mom..." Orion spoke as he walked into the infirmary. His mouth was set into a hardline and his brows were pinched in worry. Lillian had never seen him so distraught.
"I was just thinking that you two resemble each other," Lillian told Orion, "She's the girl we saw at Pandemonium, isn't she?"
"I believe so," Orion responded, his eyes trained on her sleeping figure. He hadn't been able to sleep since he and Jace brought her in last night.
"Have you talked to your mom yet?" Lillian inquired, "Maybe she knows something?"
"Mom's coming to the institute as soon as she can," Orion answered, "But I do have my theories about her..."
"Care to share them with me?" Lillian asked him, setting down some supplies she had picked up to organize.
"Promise not to tell the others till I'm sure?" Orion looked up at Lillian with pleading eyes.
"I promise," She responded with a nod.
"So you know how my mom had an older sister, Jocelyn Fairchild," Orion explained, "I think this girl is my cousin. I remember having two cousins, a boy named Jonathan and a younger girl named Clarissa. Mom and I were told they died in a fire set by their father, that he died with them. Nobody really knows what happened to my Aunt, but I haven't heard from her since the uprising."
"Who was their father... if I may ask?" Lillian asked, her interest piqued.
"Valentine Morgenstern..." Orion replies, voice full of hesitation.
Lillian looked shocked before she nodded solemnly, "So you think your aunt escaped with your younger cousin and that this girl is that cousin?"
"Yeah," Orion nodded.
"I guess it would make sense, especially after the uprising," Lillian could see some of the pieces fitting together, "I promise not to tell the others until you're ready.."
"Tell us what?" a male voice that belonged to the eldest Lightwood rang across the infirmary.
"Oh! Alec... hi..." Orion greeted him with a small smile and a blush.
"Good morning Orion, Lillian," Alec greeted both of them, "I didn't see either of you at breakfast, should have figured you'd be here.."
"Hodge told me to watch over her," Lillian told Alec, "Orion here was keeping me company."
"Yup," Orion nodded, his gaze going back to the sleeping girl.
"She looks like you," Alec commented with a slightly confused face.
"I know," was all Orion responded with before walking out of the room to do some research. Lillian and Alec watched their friend walk out with equally confused and worried faces.

"Do you think she'll ever wake up? It's been three days already." Isabelle commented from where she stood by her parabatai and older brother.
"Isabelle!" Lillian exclaimed, hitting Isabelle lightly on the arm.
"You have to give her time. Demon poison is strong stuff, and she's a mundane. She hasn't got runes to keep her strong like we do," Alec told his sister.
"Mundies die awfully easily, don't they?" Isabelle asked which gained her an outraged look from her parabatai.
"Isabelle, you know it's bad luck to talk about death in a sickroom." Alec said with a small smirk at Lillian's reaction to Isabelle's question.
"Yeah, yeah," Isabelle rolled her eyes, "Come on, let's go train."
"Sure, I guess," Lillian followed Isabelle and Alec trailed after them.
