wheels on the bus

Lili pov:

I woke up to the most annoying sound, my step mother yelling at me to get up. My step mother is the main reason I have to go to this school, god I hate that women.
"Lili, get up now!!" My step mother yelled across the house.
My real mother died when I was a baby and my father was really sad about it for the longest time until he met stacy my step mom, when he met her,he changed and I don't like it I wish things could go back to were it was only me and my dad, I'm pretty sure Stacy is making him force me to go to this school, but who knows.

I can already tell that school is gonna be awful because they literally make the girls were these ugly pink dresses and the boys blue pants, but me being me I dyed my uniform navy blue and sewed on glittery stars and moons on it, Stacy was against the whole idea of me dying my uniform but daddy said it was ok and Stacy isn't my real mother so she can't go against my dad's wishes and tell me what to do and what not to do.

"Lili! I said get up, your gonna be late for school!!" Stacy said as she burst threw my room.

"Fine! Fine! I'm up." I replied

She left the room and I put my uniform on and got ready. I brushed my teeth and did my skin care routine then I brushed my hair and put it in two French braids. I put on only a little bit of makeup because one I'm not that good at it and two I didn't want to be late for school trying to put on make up.

Once I was done getting ready I walked down stairs to the kitchen to get breakfast and noticed my dad sitting at the table working on something, my dad is always working and the only time he gets time off work he spends it with my step mom, it's like he's forgotten about me but oh well I guess.

"Hi daddy! Whatcha working on?"

I said all happily even though I was about to go to the one place I've dreaded all summer but I didn't want anybody noticing that I was scared and sad that I was leaving and nobody did notice because I'm really good at hiding my emotions.

"Oh, just work stuff. Shouldn't you be at school already?" He replied

"The bus won't be here until 7:30 and it's 7:10, so I have a few minutes to eat and say good bye to you"

"Well this better be a quick goodbye because I have a lot of work to do and I have to get ready for me and Stacy's dinner tonight." My father said.

I ran up to my father and gave him a huge hug before grabbing an apple and my stuff so I could wait outside for the but. Here come the worst years of my life.

I sat down at the bench near the sign that said k-12 bus stop and I was just watching the birds when I noticed one struggling to get up so I closed my eyes and opened the and my eyes were pitch black and I helped the bird using my powers, oh yeah I forget to mention I have these weird powers were my eyes turn black and I can do whatever I want basically. Nobody knows about my powers except me and I don't even know how or why I got them, I only use them when I need to or somebody is not looking.

After I helped the birds I heard I car and I immediately knew that it was the bus because our neighborhood is never busy and it was around 7:30 so the bus gonna be here soon anyway.

When I got on the bus I noticed that there was only a few kids on the bus, I guess I was one of the first stops which was good because I was not about to try and find a seat with a bus full of noisy and ignorant people. I decided to sit in the middle row and I sat next to the window so people could walk by. Once is sat down the bus driver started driving again but I did not trust this bus driver something just seemed of about him and it wasn't just the fact that he was drinking and driving a school, I mean that was pretty distributing but it was something else. I snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed the bus had came to a stop, I looked up from the floor that I was just starting at when I noticed the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my whole life. She had split died hair, half was black and the other side was blonde and she and the most gorgeous smile with cute little dimples,I also noticed that she had also dyed her uniform but hers was purple and had flowers on it. I then again snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed her walking down towards my way.

"Is this seat taken?" She asked with a cute friendly smile.

"Nope, you can sit here if you want" I replied back

"Cool, thanks" she said before sitting down

"Your welcome. I'm always open to making new friends, scratch that, making friends. I'm literally so lonely and if it weren't for this school then I would probably be at the skate park listening to girl in red or Lana del Rey but ,I'm here on the bus on my way to he'll" I said

The girl giggled at my reply which made my blush and I never blush, like never.

"I feel you, I literally only have one friend and we've been best friends since like birth" the girl said

"Is she going to this school?" I asked

"Yeah actually, our moms thought it would be a good idea to send us both to a sleep away school for fun" the girl answered.

"Same, my awful step mother Stacy thought I was crazy and decided to send me here to make me less crazy, I guess and my dad followed along with it." I said

"I'm sorry about that but even though I just met you I don't think you're crazy"

"Thanks that means a lot, and I'm Lili by the way since we totally skipped the whole tell each other our names part" I replied And me and her giggled  at the same time.

"I'm so sorry, I'm crybaby." She said

"Crybaby, interesting. Is that your real name or a nick name?" I asked

"My real name sadly" Crybaby answered.

-hi, I'm super sorry for making this chapter super long and having to make a part two but I really enjoyed writing this so I will probably update a lot or at least try to. What do you guys think of it so far and do you guys have any suggestions???-
