Herlyn the 8th apperician

Chapter one

                          KOU'S POV
It was a not so normal day at kamome academy which is the school I go to I was so excited to talk to yashiro but I wanted also wanted to ask hanako a question I've been wanting to ask for a long time but I was kinda scared cause hanako is unpredictable I never know how he's going to react but I need to ask him this so I was walking to school and  of course the first person I visited before I went to class was that handsy ghost hanako don't get me wrong I have fun hanging with him but he can be really touchy around nene so I was sometimes skeptical but I just brushed it off so my first class was ELA and it was really boring but after that I saw yashiro talking to her friend Aoi so I was guessing that hanako was free in the bathroom so I walked into the bathroom and of course hanako was there he asked me "where's yashiro" I told him that she was with Aoi her friend then he asked why I came I simply told him "I wanted to ask you this for a while actually"

                      HANAKO'S  POV
I was playing cards with the mokke on the window as usual while I waited for my little daikon to walk in the bathroom I heard the bathroom door open I instantly looked to the door and to my surprise it wasn't yashiro but kou instead I wondered why kou would come to my bathroom alone he usually comes with yashiro but not this time I asked him "where's yashiro"  he told me that she was with one of her friends named Aoi so I then asked him "why did you come"  and he told me "I wanted to ask you this for a while actually"  I was really curious as to what he was gonna ask me so I told him "ok what is it"  he asked "do you think there's a ghost like you that also grants wishes for the living cause I want to wish something" his question surprised me it had me in shock since he was a exorcist and didn't really like appericians like me but I told him"there actually is her name is herlyn she is the ghost of the garden she is the apperician 8 her job was to take care of all the nature in the garden to keep the plants healthy for the school" 

                        KOU'S POV
I asked hanako the question and the expression he had on his face showed  that he was shocked or surprised at my question then he said  "there actually is her name is herlyn she is the ghost of the garden she is the apperician 8 her job was to take care of all the nature in the garden to keep the plants healthy for the school"  when he said that my face turned happy in a instant then I asked him excitedly " HOW CAN I SUMMON HER!?" he said "to summon herlyn the ghost you have to have two people both of you have to get two roses and lay them on the grass and repeat these words "herlyn the roses are here herlyn the roses are herlyn the roses are here" and after you say that she should appear behind you and just like me herlyn grants wishes for the living but hers doesn't come with a price like mine does"  I was so excited to summon her after school  I asked hanako if he could do summon her with me cause I thought that yashiro would be scared of summoning her while hanako seems to know her very well he said he would after all my boring long classes were done I immediately ran to hanako and busted the door open to see him looking out the window and yashiro cleaning the bathroom as usual I asked him if we can summon her and yashiro was confused so hanako filled her in on what we're going to do she seemed a little worried but overall okay with it so me and hanako went to the school garden I picked two roses and hanako picked two roses we layed them on the bright green grass and repeated the words "herlyn the roses are here herlyn the roses are here herlyn the roses are here".....then suddenly I felt someone hold my shoulder and whisper "why hello"  in that moment I turned quickly and saw the ghost girl she looked a little like hanako with the hat she had on it was the same as hanako's and she had a black dress with black and white striped socks and black sneakers to go with it she looked modern and trendy unlike hanako and the rest of the apperician's at this school  in that moment I was interested on learning about her she started to talk to me she said "hi my names herlyn Brea the 8th apperician at this school it's a pleasure to meet you" then she winked at me which made me have a light blush appear on my face so I introduced myself to her "hi I'm kou minamoto nice t-to meet y-you too" god why was I stuttering I'm so dumb she then chuckled a little and said hi to hanako I'm guessing she knows hanako well like hanako knows her which intrigued me does hanako and herlyn have a past together I wondered she then asked me "well you summoned me so I'm guessing that you wanted me to grant you a wish am I right?" I answered with a 'yes' then she asked me what I wanted to wish for I told her "I want this apperician to turn back to a normal ghost if that's possible" she looked at me in shock and asked me what apperician I told her the hell of mirrors she looked at me in shock and looked like she felt guilty she answered " I'm really really sorry but I can't do that cause an apperician can't turn another apperician to whatever they want and also cause tsukasa made that apperician I can't do that but anything else you want me to grant I will" she said with a small smile I told her "it's fine but can I wish for a girl in my class to like me?"
Herlyn's face then turned into a a smirk and she floated over to me and asked "ooouuu what girl what's her name?"  " it's yashiro nene I've kinda started having a crush on her" I said blushing in a deep pink color " she then patted my head and said "well before I grant your wish I need to tell you that since I'm making a human heart doing what's not natural to a specific person it might cause damage to that person are you sure you still want to wish that cause if you don't I'll help you try to win this girls heart naturally" I really didn't want anything to happen to nene so I agreed to her helping me naturally since Herlyn's a girl she might know what to do "can you help me get her to like me then?" " of course tell me a little about her" "well she's kind,pretty and she's also hanako's assistant" "mhmmm and what does she look like?" Herlyn said while writing something down on her notebook I then pulled out my phone and pulled up a picture I had of nene and me the ghost girl then looked at me with a smirk again and said "sooo you like the nice ones don't you?"  And looked at me in a flirtatious way still smirking and got really close to my face cause me to blush like a tomato then she said "I'm just teasing she looks pretty but she kinda reminds me of a daikon" she chuckled "I know I really want her to like me back so can you help me?" " of course I can" "is there anything she likes to do at school like what are her hobbies?" "Well she likes gardening" when I said that the ghost girls face lit up with happiness she then said "I can help with that gardening is my specialty I mean I am the gardening ghost after all" she says with a innocent smile she then drags me to a flower field and tells me " she will definitely like these I made them myself she looks like she would love daisies and dandelions " she said as she showed a big smile on her face causing me to blush a bit

                     HERLYN'S POV
I was so happy not only cause it's it's my first time being summoned but also cause I think I met a new friend I was so happy causing me to put a big smile on my face then I saw kou have a slight light pink blush appear on kou's face awwww he is so adorable and easy to tease though I was kinda jealous cause of his crush on this yashiro girl she looked nice and all but I wanted kou to like me and look at me like he looks at that girl even tho we just met AGH WHAT AM I THINKING! he deserves to have someone like yashiro not a dumb garden ghost like me Anyways I'm already dead I don't have anything else to worry about so I'll just help him get this girls attention even if it meant it would hurt my feelings and I do still  feel guilty that I couldn't grant his first wish choice about mistuba just thinking that name reminds me of tsukasa NO NO NO STOP THINKING ANOUT HIM HERLYN! " hey Herlyn you okay you seem kinda stressed and deep in thought is something wrong" "NO! I mean no I'm fine"  I was horrible at lying "you know you're really bad at lying do you need a hug?" My face instantly looked up at the nice caring blonde hair boy and at that moment I knew I need to protect him keep him safe "yea thanks" then we hugged for a couple of minutes before I hand him some daisies and dandelions for him to give yashiro I went to hanako's bathroom to see if the girl was there and she was so then pushed kou into the bathroom with him holding the bouquet of daisies and dandelions I made and I mouthed "good luck" as he blushed intensely seeing yashiro and handed her the bouquet and turning away hiding his blush it was so cuteeee! She then accepted the flowers and kou looked so happy and he asked if he can walk her home luckily she said yes I felt like a matchmaking angel in that moment knowing that she appreciated the flowers but hanako seemed to not have noticed so I floated over to him which surprised him

                    HANAKO'S POV
I was looking out the window  admiring the beautiful flowers and trees outside when I see Herlyn floating above me gosh why does she look cute when she floats like that "hey hanako what's up?" "Nothing much just looking at the flowers and trees outside" "oh okay also hanako can I talk to you?" "Sure what's up?" "It's about....your brother" "um okay what about him?" "Well even though He backstabbed me I still love him is that weird" I was shocked and I stayed silent she shouldn't love someone like tsukasa he hurts people and appericians she deserves better "but I also love kou even though I just met him today  I don't know how to feel I feel like I'm in a stuck small space and I can't get out" " Herlyn relax it's going to be okay just relax for now and stay away from tsukasa I'm serious he's dangerous and I don't want to lose you a second time cause you're already dead but luckily I was able to make into the 8th apperician so that you can still stay in this school and stay with me but please I beg you don't come close to him no matter what." I was worried and scared for Herlyn cause of how she ended up last time she met tsukasa....when she was alive and I couldn't save her in time I can't let anything bad happen to her a second time "Okay hanako I promise I won't go near tsukasa." "Ok good just lay on my chest for now until you're okay" "okay hanako" she then layed on my chest as I took of her hat so she's comfortable and looked out the window admiring her work with the flowers outside.
