    The Hidden Fire

It is a great pleasure to be born in a place wrapped with beautiful and bountiful treasures, living through the precious life and great harvest of abundant gifts from above.
Individuals were enjoying the tranquility and sensational town of Saperu. One of them was twenty-one years old shy and a modest lady with brown eyes, a lovely face, flawless skin, long hair, and the only daughter named Ella Rosario. She was hard-working and did her best to attain goals in life. She lived happily and peacefully in the town together with his kind and loving parents, Ryan and Menchie Rosario. Ella was a bashful lady yet blessed with the richness of love and support from her parents and her best friend, Jasmine. Jasmine was her only one blithesome best friend. They have been together for long years through darkness and lightness of memories. Both came from the same school. Even they had opposite personalities but still bind together.

Friday afternoon, the bell suddenly rang. Students hurriedly went home while Jasmine asked Ella to go shopping. "I am sorry. I cannot. Let us utilize our time doing homework." Ella said. Then, without any hesitation, Jasmine followed Ella.
Before they went home, they did their homework while they were making precious memories together. They laughed loudly while sharing life experiences. All of a sudden, the phone rang. Her mom was calling because there was an emergency.
"Jasmine, I am so sorry. I need to go." Ella said.

"But Ella, we are not done yet," Jasmine replied.

Ella went home quickly without listening to Jasmine. Jasmine was left disappointed without considering the excuses of Ella and never had a call or even text, Ella.

Ella felt something wrong happened while she was walking going home. Unluckily, Ella was home seeing his father with a cold body wearing white clothes, covered with a white blanket beside with melting candle.

"Dad, I'm home. Daaaaaddddddd! Daaaaaddd! No! Please do not leave me! Daaaaddd. I need you. Please wake up! Ella cried loudly.

Ella was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by negative emotions and broken into pieces. Then, Ella had only her mother and her best friend beside her. But Ella was wrong thinking that Jasmine would stay. She was wondering why Jasmine got cold and never showed her presence. She cannot reach Jasmine anymore and even in school. Ella left lonely, miserable, and regretful, always longing for the presence of her father and their friendship but it remains shattered.

A few months later, while she was scrolling her phone. She accidentally saw the news about the spreading of the virus- an enormous catastrophe took countless individuals. It was called Corona Virus. It gave mountainous changes and the main factor of their stormy lives.
Everything has stopped and disappeared like bubbles. Even education was greatly affected. The classes stopped. The world is covered wholly with darkness. Then, the new normal came. The new beginning of Ella started. The life of Ella became more difficult.
Face-to-face classes vanished and transformed into a flexible learning style that was an online platform. Ella had a hard time adapting and adjusting to the new normal.

On a gloomy Monday morning, the alarm clock was ringing in an organized mess room of Ella and playing with slow songs.

"Ella, wake up. It is already your second week in the online class. Hurry to fix yourself."
Her mom said without knowing that Ella still up, was not able to sleep, and kept on reminiscing and badly longing for the past school year with papers beside her.
