Chapter 2: We reunite with a hug!

oh hi I'm tired. but enjoy thy second chapter!

also this chapter is testing my Spanish.

 and I needed to release this early so I can have a bit more time to write and have time to be lazy- 

-Luz's POV-

I was packing up some of my stuff and clothes then I got up and stretching my back. I walked out of my room and headed to the living room "oh Luz el pequeño búho is here for you" my eyes lit up with excitement "Owlbert!" The little owl poked his head over my mom's shoulder and gave a happy hoot, he then flew over to me and landed on my head "how've you been buddy?" i asked while scratching his head, he gave me two little hoots so I'll assume he's doing great "alright well let me quickly get my bag and we can head out" he nodded and flew back to my mom. I ran back into my room and grabbed my bag, I stopped at the door and looked back at the slightly empty room. I'm gonna miss this room a little, I smiled and walked back to the living room 

"alright owlbert, let get going!" I was excited to finally see Eda and King. I smiled at the thought of them, owlbert flew off to the direction of the front door and I went after him and opened the door "bye mami, te amo!" I shouted "Bye luz, te amo tambien!" I waved goodbye with a big smile and took a step outside then closing the door behind me. I heard a little hoot next to me "sorry for keeping you waiting owlbert, I just had to say bye to my mom" owlbert nodded then flew off and turned the corner disappearing into the woods, good thing I have my speed boost turned on my boots. So I was quick to catch up with owlbert following him from behind

I was quiet, my thoughts filled with questions like what's new with the boiling isles and how are my friends doing, especially amity. I heard a small hoot quickly snapping me back to reality when I noticed a tree was just a foot away. Luckily I was swift enough to turn on my jump boost on my boots and jump up to grab a branch and swing off it and stick the landing. "Yes I got it!" I celebrated to myself, then I continued to run after owlbert.

We made it to the front of the shack door, owlbert sat on my shoulder and dropped the key into my hand. I looked at the key, running my thumb up and down the key remembering what eda said to me after I left. I pushed the golden eye on the key, then the door shifted and turned into a bigger door with a big golden eye in the middle. I opened the door and the bright light hit my eyes, I winced at the bright light then rubbed my eyes clearing my vision. I opened my eyes and looked back at owlbert, he nudged my cheek telling me to go in. 

If I'm being honest, I was scared. I didn't know if Willow or Gus still remember me and even worse what if Amity forgot about me? I sighed "i really hope Amity still remembers who i am.." I mumbled to myself, I saw owlbert fly in and disappear to the other side. "Did he really just leave me behind? Wow owlbert" I sighed then looked down, I stepped forward and walked through to the other side with my eyes shut. I heard two gasps, "Luz?" I heard a familiar voice call my name, I opened my eyes and looked up to see the two familiar faces "Eda! King!"

I dropped my bag on the floor, is this a dream- wait no I'm not dreaming damn it! you're being a little dense here Luz! "Hey there kiddo you seem to have dropped your bag-" eda was  cut off when i ran up to her teary eyed and giving her a big hug, "so we reunite with a hug and no words?" eda asked as she hugged me back, I nodded my head when i heard a small whimpering noise. I looked down to see king tugging at my pants "where's my hug?" I rolled my eyes at him chuckling and rubbing away the tears from my eyes, I picked him up and hugged him tight. King squealed with excitement and he hugged me back as tight as he could

"I missed my boo boo buddy!" he said as I held him close, I felt his tooth digging into my shoulder and I tried not to rip him off me. "alright we should probably start heading home before night falls" I looked up at Eda and nodded, "should we walk or use our boots to get home faster?" king jumped out of my grasp making me jump but relieved from the stinging pain from his tooth digging into my shoulder, "no way are you gonna use your stupid boots to carry me back home!" Eda sighed and looked at me "you alright with walking kid?" I nodded in agreement while I rubbed my shoulder with one hand and grabbed my bag that was still on the floor with my other. "Alright king let's get going" eda walked outside and we both followed behind her closely,

 as soon as we got outside i noticed how much more bright and glowy the isles was. Then I saw a big city off into the distance "hey eda is that a new city?" eda turned to the right looking at the city then nodded "yeah that's the Boiling city, they built it while you were gone. Pretty cool right?" I nodded, and I was excited to explore the new city with my friends. I kept staring at the city, it looked so big almost like Tokyo and New York combined. maybe the human engineering ways are leaking into the Boiling Isles, I squinted my eyes when I realised that some of the building look like builds from Tokyo. "eda, did the Boiling city take inspiration from the human city Tokyo?" I looked at eda "I think so but I'm not sure if it was that city" I looked back to city, well it looks great either way.

-Ok let me explain the how the boot system works-

 so if you saw the concepts you can see these button like things on the side of them. these boots allow anyone to enhance their ability to jump higher and run faster and sense owlbert can't fly them back they have their backup plan and that's the boots! (just so we don't have confusion)
