"Darling?",a soft voice woke you up from your slumber. The owner of the voice was shacking your shoulder slightly while calling you. Your eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the sudden change of brightness.
Your vision was a bit blurry, but you could still make out what was going on in front of you.
The soft fabric of the blanket that was almost covering you entirely felt so nice that you didn't even want to get up. It felt like as if you had slept for weeks if not months.
As your eyes adjusted entirely to the new environment you noticed a worried looking male in front of you. He was kneeling on the floor with both of his arms crossed on the bed you were laying on.
"S-Suna-senpai?",your voice was raspy and not much above a whisper. His facial expression losened up a bit, but not entirely.
"I thought we agreed on you calling me Rin.",he twirled a strand of your hair around his finger looking intensely into your eyes.
You couldn't recall anything of what he had just said. Suna noticed your unsureness and began to stroke your cheek with the same finger.
Are you alright, Darling?",his gaze softened up again. "Do you need anything?",he asked while standing up, signaling you that he could get the thing right away. "N-no uh...",you sat up and put your face in your hands trying to recall what happened before you fell asleep. "How long was I asleep?".
"Two days.",he sat down again. "How can I sleep for two days? And why am I even here...in your bed? What happened?",you had so many questions and started to panick a bit.
The only thing you knew about the boy in front of you was his name and that he's a volleyball player at your school. So why are you here now? How did you get here? Why is he calling you 'Darling'?
"You don't remember.....anything?",he narrowed his eyebrows at you.
Maybe it was because you were still light headed, but it sounded like there was a tint of hope in his voice.
"No, I don't.",your e/c orbs met his green ones. "The only thing I remember, was how we met, I think? Or it was just a dream, I don't know."
"I'll explain everything to you, but first you should eat something.",he held his hand out to you for support while standing up. You grabbed it and tried not to fall due to the sudden movement.
Stumbling out of his room, you noticed that the blinds were down on every window, even though the windows were open. The staircase at the end of the living room was quite small, but still big enough for two people to walk next to each other.
As the two of you arrived in his kitchen you saw that the blinds where down as well, the only light source coming from the bright light above the kitchen counter.
The male let go of your weakened body, leaving you in the door frame as he walked to the sink. It was now that you noticed the aching feeling coming from your head.
Like a mind reader Rintaro put a glass of water which was mixed with a white powder like substance on the modern looking bar table that was facing you.
Obeying his motion you sat down on one of the round chairs and eyed the glass.
"You hungry?",the lazy boy questioned you as he opened the fridge looking for somethinge, shooting you glances. Before you could answer his question the growling of your stomach did it for you.
"Sounds like a yes to me.",while mumbling out the scentence he took out a blue pot and put it down after closing the fridge.
While he did his thing and heated up the pot in the black microwave, you were debating about if you should drink the whole thing at once or sip it down one by one.
"Suna-sen- I mean...Rin?",looking up you saw Rintaro setting the time and turning on the microwave, which made noticible beep sounds. The male turned his head to you with his usual half lidded eyes looking at your figure.
Making a slight hum sound he raised his eyebrows a bit. "What's in the glass?",switching between the mentioned object and you he thought of an answer.
"Water."
Slightly smiling at the boys sarcastic nature you pointed at the white powder flooding around in the water. "I meant these white things."
"I put aspirin in it.",shrugging he turned back to the microwave, uninterestedly watching the pot rotating around its own axis until the device made a noice as a sign that it was done.
Faintly taking the glass you sipped on it and put it back down.
The taste was absolutely revolting.
You were trying your best to hold back puking noises and prevent yourself from spitting the liquid out again.
Doubting the aspirin would help, you hesitated to even look at the water.
"Who knew aspirin would taste that disgustingly.",while you were calming down from the feeling of vomiting, your appearent friend put down the food in front of you.
On the plate were spaghetti noodles with a green sauce which you could only guess was pesto.
You grabbed the fork he had placed down before and got ready to eat the delicious looking meal.
But you hesitated.
-
You looked up and to see you where somewhere else. A restaurant maybe?
Your eyes met Sunas greenish ones. The boy looked at you with expectation shimering in his orbs."What do you think of it?
"It's really good I've never eaten that before!"
Flashing him a smile with closed eyes you continued to eat your dish. A soft chuckle left the males lips."
"I'm glad you like it."
-
"I'm glad you like it."
"Huh?"
Blinking a few times you found yourself back in reality.
"The noodles.",he pointed at them while raising his brows at you. "I'm glad that you like them."
"O-oh..."
"When did I start eating?"
Brushing it off as plain forgetfullness you went back to what you've been doing before without realizing.
That didn't stop you from questioning what you saw.
What were you two doing there?
Why were you even there?
Was it a date? You couldn't recall ever agreeing on a date with Suna.
You'd talk with said male about it later.
