The rain was pouring down without mercy and it didn't seem like it would stop anytime soon. You suddenly regreted the decision of not listening to your Mom who was telling you to take your umbrella with you the whole time.
It was no use getting mad at yourself now, since that couldn't stop the rain either.
You took your phone out to call your Dad to pick you up so that your Mom wouldn't get mad at you. As you noticed that it of course hasn't been charged and was now completely off, you let out another sigh and sat down at the bench behind you.
Luckily you could find shelter at a bus station before it started to rain that strong. The people who were entering the buses often weirdly looked at you, especially the ones sitting next to you, but as time went by no one was there anymore.
Some might say you could just take a bus home, to your misfortune you've missed the last bus that passed your house.
You already lost count of how many times you've sighed, but it was definitely over 13.
"Wow, you definitely already let out over 16 sighs by now.",as if he could read your mind, the boy that was now sitting next to you started talking to you.
"Eheh, sorry if that's bothering you.",you apologized to him, sweatdropping a bit. "Don't worry, it's not. What are you so worried about though?"
The young male kept a deadpan, but his voice was really soft. It surprised you a bit, but you could listen to it all day.
"Well, my phone isn't charged, no bus is passing my home at that time and I forgot my umbrella.",you grew irritated at yourself by listening up the things you could blame yourself for. "So it's one of those typical horror movie scenarios huh?", he lazily leaned back so his back was not touching the glass wall that was behind you. You chuckled at his comment and started to stare into the distance.
"Imagine someone would just stand behind us now and kill us."
A silence fell and you started to worry that he was creeped out by you now. Just as you were about to turn your head to him, he grabbed your shoulders and said 'boo'.
To say it only surprised you was an underestimatment, it scared the living shit out of you. You jumped up and let out a scream, covering your mouth with your hands shortly after. The boy smirked at the sight while you calmed your heartrate down. "Scared?",his smirk grew wider and you couldn't help but smile at your own reaction.
"I was worried for a second!",you exclaimed and sat down again. "About that I'm creeped out cause of your comment?",he tilted his head. "Okay, are you a mind reader or something?",you sarcastically asked. He only laughed at that and went back to leaning against the glass wall. You took this as an opertunity to examine the male better.
His eyes were closed, but you noticed before that they were light green. His hair was dark brown and parted at the front, which made him look kind of cute. The umbrella you didn't notice at first was now laying on the ground and you saw that he was wearing long sport trousers.
Looking up a bit, you wondered if he was in a school team. That thought ended up being right as you looked closely at his jacket and realized it was the volleyball jacket of YOUR school team.
"We don't even know eachothers names and you're already checking me out?",his eyes opened a bit and you could clearly hear the sarcasm in his voice. "Eh, uh, it's not like that-.",you shock your hands in front of your flustered face. "Heh, I was just kidding.",his deadpan didn't change.
"But you're right. We didn't get eachothers names.",you realized you've been talking to a stranger for at least 20 minutes already without knowing the boys name.
"I'm L/N Y/N.",you smiled at him. "Your name doesn't sound like it would belong to someone who imagines them and someone else getting killed.",he smirked. You sweat dropped thinking back on what you said. "Anyways, I'm Suna Rintarou.",when you heard that name it clicked in your brain.
The expression on your face seemed to be speaking for itself and Suna perked his eyebrow at you. "Figured out who I am yet?",he monotounosly asked.
A tiny gasp escaped your lips and your eyes widened. He seemed to get slightly uncomfortable and that got you out of your thoughts. "Sorry if my staring is making you uncomfortable, Suna-senpai.",you calmed down a bit and waited for his reaction. "You...you're not going to scream?",he asked. "Should...I?",confusion was written all over you as you tried to figure out what he meant.
"Most girls, occasionally boys too, start to squeal and blush when they figure out who I am.",he shook his head at that thought.
"I'm just glad it's not as bad as with the Twins.",a sigh escaped his lips as he calmed down again.
"I haven't watched that many matches of you guys to be honest. Not that I don't want to or anything.",you added the last part in fear you might offend him. "I'm new to that school, but I did notice that mostly everyone went crazy over the Miya Twins.",the memory of you getting squished against the hallways walls came up again and you remembered how you wished you would've stayed in your class.
"Ah, that explains a lot.",he might not show it, but you could feel that he calmed down entirely again. A silence fell as you both stared into the distance, letting the atmosphere consume both of you.
It was a comfortable silence though.
The rain that was hitting the glass wall behind you seemed to get louder by the second. Your vision blured a bit and you started to feel weaker and weaker as you could only hear the rain splattering on the glass reaching an omnious volume and speed.
