It was a bright and sunny day in Gotham, and Dixie and Tracie we're talking a stroll through Central Park. There was no one there so they could hear the birds chirping, bees buzzing, and the fountain flowing. There is a slight chill breeze that hit them while they make small talk, while walking home.
Tracie is wearing a red sweater, gray jacket, black jeans, and red high top converse. She is also supporting low pigtails that go 4 inches past her shoulder. Dixie is wearing a blue sweater, black jacket, black jeans, and white high top converse. Dixie is supporting a fishtail braid that goes a little down past her butt.
A little off to the side behind the bushes head Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Joker comes out of nowhere with his goons and walks up to the sisters. The goons circle around them while Joker walks up the middle knocking a crowbar in his hands, and speaks in a ecstatic voice "Well, well, well, what do we have here! If it isn't two of the Wayne brats. I'm gonna need you to come with me. We can do this the easy way or the hard way."
The girls look at each other and lower their heads. Joker smirks "Good! You to listen very well!" Harley and Ivy jump out from the bush and make their way to the inside of the circle; Ivy with Tracie and Harley with Dixie. Ivy speaks up "They may listen but we don't." "Come on kiddies! Let's get you home." Harley said, and they hold the hands of the child closest to them.
Joker's smile turns into a frown and he whines "But I need them to come with me." "NO!" Harley bit harshly. Joker knows he can't win, so instead he threatens them "Mark my words, I will kill you two.", and with that he disappears. Harley and Ivy walk Dixie and Tracie all the way back to the Wayne Manor.
When they get to the gate Dixie pushes the button on the side panel and Alfred answers "Who is it?" Tracie answers excitedly, "Tracie, Dixie, Auntie Harley, and Auntie Ivy!" Alfred smiles, though no one can see it, he speaks in a heavy British accent, "Welcome home Mistresses" then the gates open and they walk through. When they get to the door they are greeted by Alfred. "Hello young Mistresses" Alfred greets and opens the front door."Good evening Alfred!" Tracie says excitedly. "Hi Alfred! Thank you." Dixie says.
The two girls walk through the door, and Alfred turns to look at Harley and Ivy. "Hello Mistress Harley, Mistress Ivy. Come in." Alfred speaks. Harley speaks softly and kindly, "I mean no disrespect sir, but no thank you. However there's one thing you could help us with." She looks to Ivy and Ivy continues "Yes, can we talk to you and Bruce? It's important." "Yes of course, come in." He replies, and moves over so they can walk through, and they do.
Alfred leads the ex villains to the dining room and motion for them to sit down; "Please sit. I'll be back with Master Bruce." They nod and sit, beside each other at the right side of the table, while waiting for Bruce and Alfred to come back. Two minutes later and Alfred comes back with Bruce right behind him. "Bruce" Harley greets, extending her hand. "Harley, Ivy" Bruce greets shaking her hand, "What brings you two by here?" The women look at each other, then at Alfred and Bruce.
Alfred notices and speaks up "I will go check on the girls." Ivy extends her arm out with her hand in a stop gesture, "WAIT! Please... you both need to hear this." Now Bruce and Alfred were worried, a villain, VILLAIN! Said please, PLEASE! "What is it?" Bruce asks remaining as stoic as ever.
Harley speaks this time. " earlier today we were walking through the park; when we saw Dixie and Tracy. We decided to hide behind a bush and spy on them. About a minute later the Joker came out of nowhere, and was going to kidnap them, we got in the way. He didn't like that very well... He threatened them. His exact words were "Mark my words, I will kill you two" so we walked them home just to be on the safe side."
Bruce and Alfred are speechless. If they had any doubt that the ex villains were still villains, it's gone now. "Thank you" This surprises everyone in the room, the ex villains most of all because it came from Bruce. Harley and Ivy thought the same thing 'did Batman, THE BATMAN, just thank us?!' "You're welcome" Harley replies getting over shock. " we should be going, if you all need any help here's our number" Ivy says as she slides a piece of paper across the table with their phone numbers on it. "We'll see ourselves out."
With that they stand up and walk out of the dining room, right out the front door, and pass the gate, disappearing into the darkness. Bruce and Alfred look at each other until the doorbell rings throughout the manner. The adults get to the front door only to see Jasmine standing at the door holding a letter.
She has a worried look on her face as she looks at them. She breaks the silence, her voice cracking a bit, as she hands the letter to Bruce, " I think you should see this." The letter had a picture of Dixie holding her parents dead, bloody, bodies, with a circle drawn in dried blood around Dixies body there was a note with it too.
