14 ~ Stop

"Welcome to our house Jinnie"

The small guy but with the cutest sparkling eyes greeted him and Seokjin just cheerily nodded. He hugged the same age friend and they jumped small from the meeting. He was so excited when Hoseok and Namjoon asked him to join them for a family dinner this weekend. The dinner was to congratulate the pair for their bookstore's multiple revenue for the month along with some small celebration for Jungkook's belated birthday party. Having from getting to know Hoseok and Jungkook now he couldn't believe that he is now able to befriend Namjoon, Jimin and also Yoongi. All of them knew about his feelings towards Jungkook but as always Jungkook only deemed it as not important.

"I missed you Jin, I'm sorry I was so busy with my job that I couldn't invite you earlier for dinner. Anyway, come on let's sit down. Jungkook is not home yet by the way. He's out with Yoongi.

Jimin pulled him to the kitchen, already getting used to having Seokjin as an additional friend to their small family. From the first time he was introduced to the handsome guy he was already attracted to his lovely and cheerful personality. Both of them matched well since the meeting. From the bright and happy go lucky side to the kind and comforting character, it's as if Jimin had found his long lost twin.

"What are you guys making? Here I baked some blueberry cheese cake, red velvet cake, chocolate cake and macarons. I don't know what you like so I ended up made a few of them. Hopefully it'll fit your taste."

Seokjin handed the box of his baking pastry to Jimin. He doesn't know what kind ot flavour that his new friends love but since it's his first gathering with the family why not he just prepare it with various types. Afterall Seokjin is always confident with his baking skills.

"Woah smells good Jinnie. You know, Jungkook can eat anything and everything, he's not a picky eater at all. I'm sure he can finish your tasty cakes at one serving. I can't wait too,the taste must be so perfect just like the baker ain't it?"

"Yes, and Jungkook is gonna love this so much, right Hoseok hyung?"

Both Jimin and Hoseok teased him. All supportive towards his feelings. The older guy nudged his shoulder sofly, eyes crinkling with naughty stares making Seokjin went red in instant. His cheeks feeling hot from the constant praises.

Well he hopes Jungkook would love his hard work too.

"Congratulations for your store hyung, I will always pray for it's constant growth and prosper, hopefully you can open more stores after this. To everyone else too, thank you so much for the birthday celebration, you guys don't need to do this though"

As the celebrated birthday boy, Jungkook gave his speech in simple wish and grateful pray. There was hints of shyness on his face, feeling unnecessary that they had to celebrate his day after every disappointment and bad memories that he put his brothers into. He would never take them for granted.

He rubbed his nape unconsciously feeling it hot from the awkwardness. They popped off the wine bottles, enjoying the various eateries on the table in light hearts and happy mind. It's been so long since they could spend their time together.

Now standing still in the corner of the kitchen arc, in a fair distance, Jungkook stared at each one of the faces before him, observing their excitement for the night.

There, far at the end of the hall Yoongi and Namjoon sitting down on the two resting chairs in their small balcony. Both got glass of wine on their hands, talking animatedly. Sometimes Yoongi would only smile and nod at Namjoon's excited chattering. Perhaps they're talking about the store, or maybe his Namjoon hyung did share some secrets about his husband, following his eyes that Jungkook could see often lingered on the smaller guy who obviously unnoticed at his husband's habits as right now Hoseok was laughing out loud alongside Jimin. His back bent down from anything funny stories that both of them were talking about. Jimin's eyes tearing up from how hard he was laughing. The scene made Jungkook smile along. The relief and warmth seeping up in his body, embracing him in full comfort and solace.
