"Guys, come on. You know you want to check out the new club. It will be awesome. We can try out some new dance moves and impress the ladies." Jimin said.
"I'm out." Said JK. "I would much rather spend the evening in my quiet apartment with my wife."
"I'm gonna have to agree." Said V. "I don't need to impress any lady but my wife."
RM replied with "I have to catch up on some reading. Lyrics don't write themselves." He was doing some research for one of their new songs.Yoongi and Hobi had already made plans with some friends so that left Jin.
"Please Jin." Jimin begged. "You know I need a wingman."
"Yeah, a wingman you ditch for the first girl who bats her eyes at you. Leaving me all alone."
"We could get you a girl too."
"You know thats not where I plan to find my Mrs. Right."
"Can't you just help a guy out? It will be the last time."
"Ok." Jin said reluctantly. "The last time. I'm getting too old for that scene. Besides it's not fair to all the other guys. I am world wide handsome, you know." They all laughed at that.
"I'll pick you up at 9."
They all left the practice room and headed their separate ways. Jimin showered, had some dinner, and carefully picked out what he was gonna wear. Some black jeans, his cool black boots, and a soft caramel colored shirt that looked great on his fit trim body. He spent a half hour on his hair. Normally a stylist did that and they made it look so easy. His good luck cross earrings, a medallion necklace, and a couple bracelets and rings to complete the look. He headed out the door to his red camero. He picked up Jin and they headed to Club Z. Jimin parked and they walked to the front of the line past all the people waiting to get in. Jimin walked with a confident stride with Jin following. "Hey, Big D." Jimin said and high fives the bouncer.
"Hey, Jimin. The ladies are waiting for you inside." He let Jimin and Jin go on in. Once inside it was pretty dark and really loud. You had to put your lips right by someone's ear to be heard. Up closer to the bar it was lit up so the bartenders could see what they were doing. Jimin headed straight there through the crowd of people. Smiling and waving and sometimes stopping to dance just for a second with some girl. The music was a little lower here so you could be heard. He ordered two drinks. One for Jin and one for himself. They carried their drinks to a back table that Jimin had reserved. The music was much quiter here and you could talk without having to yell.
"Isn't this great?" Said Jimin.
"I guess. I think I may be deaf." Said Jin. "I can't believe you do this every weekend."
"This is the life. Good drinks and any kind of girl you could imagine. Just have a look." He gestured to the dance floor that was wall to wall people.
"I see all right. Just not sure any of these women are my type. I'm not really a party animal."
"Drink up and loosen up." Said Jimin as he took a big swig from his drink. "Woot. Woot." Some girls came over to flirt. They barely had enough on to cover themselves. "Ladies, how's it going tonight?"
"Better now that we've met you boys." She giggled. "Can we join you?"
Jin looked unsure and uncomfortable but Jimin scooted out a chair for the blonde and gave her his best smile. "You can sit over here by my friend, Jin." He gestured to the other empty chair. "I'm Jimin and you ladies are?"
The blonde said "I'm Celeste and this is Tiffany." Tiffany was a redhead and didn't seem to be as chatty as Celeste. She just sat, smiled, and sipped her drink. Jin had given her a nod but he avoided eye contact and sipped on his drink.
"Wanna dance?" Jimin asked Celeste.
"Sure." They headed for the dance floor leaving Jin and Tiffany to sit in silence. Neither brave enough to talk to the other.
