Chapter 4

(a/n hey, so this will be a few months after the last chapter. Again I'm sorry about all of the time jumps. Also I don't live in London so don't be offended if I don't know how you/they talk. Hope you like this story.)

So one more week of school and then summer break! Finally I have been waiting for this, plus next year I'll be a senior. I was at work in the back cleaning out the coffee ground chamber listening to music in my earbuds since I had a while till Louis would be there. So I was singing along to fallin' for you by R5. I must have lost track of time because when I stopped singing I heard claps. I turned around and saw Louis. He just smiled at me and said, "Wow I didn't know you could sing. I mean you are an AMAZING singer." "Thanks but im not that good." "You really are." We kept talking about random stuff untill Louis asked me, "What's your biggest dream future wise? Like if you could be anything what would it be?" "Ummm... I mean I've always wanted to sing." "You would be amazing at it!" "I don't know, I have terrible stage fright." "No way!" "Yes way! What about you? What do you want to do, or do you just want to stay in a cafe for the rest of eternity?" "Ummm... Speaking of that, there's something I need to tell you." He said slightly losing his smile. "What is it?" "Well your question was if I could be anything what would I want to be. My answer would be an actor, I actually got a role in a netflix movie." "No way! Your joking!" "Why are you mad?" "How could I be mad! Louis that's amazing! I'm so happy for you!" "I was wondering if you would want to come with me." "Are you serious! Of course I would come with you, but I don't have money like that, I can't afford a ticket." "Well that's good because I already bought you one. I knew you would say yes but I also know you would have said no to me paying for it." "Your damn right I would have said no." "Well too bad it's already paid for." "Thank you so much!" I said running and hugging him.

C: OMG! YOUR NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!!
S: WHAT!!!
C: Louis asked me to go with him when he films a netflix movie! (I was about to send it when I realized that Louis would probably want to be the one to tell everyone about his movie role. So instead I sent...)
C: Louis asked me to go on an out of country trip with me!
S: No fucking way!
C: Yes way!
S: How much you want to bet that he will ask you out while you guys are there.
C: He doesn't like me like that.
S: Okay, do you like him like that?
C: No! Of course not! We are just FRIENDS! And that's all we'll ever be!
S: Uh huh! Yeah right.
C: Well I have to go have a good day and I'll see you tomorrow
S: Okay. Tell Louis I said hi.
C: I will.
*End of messages*

In my mind I knew that Louis didn't like me, but I always wished that he did. I mean how could I not, he's sweet, charming, caring, funny, energetic, smart, and as a bonus he's really cute. He is also a total goofball, so I know I can mess around and have fun when I'm with him. I then got snapped out of my weird daydream when louis said, "Chloe, CHLOE, EARTH TO CHLOE JACOBS!" "Sorry! I spaced out." "I see that, is everything okay?" "Yeah I umm... I'm just not feeling good." I lied. "Why don't you go home and I'll finish up here." "No I couldn't leave you with all the work." "Fine then you sit down in that chair and I'll finish cleaning up. That you you wouldn't be leaving me." "Okay thanks smart ass." "Your welcome." I rolled my eyes and then just sat down. "So when do we leave?" I asked trying to make small talk. "Not next Monday as in tomorrow but the Monday after." "Sounds great! And are you going to tell Caleb or Sarina before we go?" "I think I'm going to wait to tell them." "Okay." Louis then walked out while hanging up his apron. "Let's go!" He said standing in front of me with his hand out for me to take. I politely took it and then we walked out of the cafe. While walking back to my house I started getting cold. "Did you forget a jacket, your shivering like crazy." "Yeah I was in a hurry and I forgot." "Here,(takes off hoodie and hands it to me) take this, it'll keep you warm." "Thank you, but I don't need it, plus you'll get cold." "I'll be fine. And your my friend and if your cold I want you to stay warm." When he said that I felt happy that he cares about me but it hurt when he called me a friend. "Thank you" I said taking it and putting it on. "It looks better on you anyway. You can keep it." "Sweet! I love this hoodie." We both just laughed. Then we arrived at my house. "Hey, I'll see you tomorrow for our last week of school!" "Okay bye Chloe." He said walking away. I turned to walk away but then stopped. I turned around and ran to Louis and jumped on his back. He almost fell over but once he caught his balance I said, "Seriously thank you for the hoodie, and for walking me home." I then slid off his back and he turned around. I hugged him and he rested his chin on my head. "Thank you for saying you'll come with me when I film." "Are you serious I would always want to leave this place, plus I get to do it with my best friend." "Best friend?" "Don't tell Sarina I said that because then she will be mad at me, and I probably wouldn't live to be able to go with you." "I swear I won't." "Good!" We talked for a few more minutes and then I went inside. After everything he had said today I could still only think about the hoodie. It's the warmest sweatshirt I've ever had.  I got ready for bed and then tried to go to sleep, but my stomach felt life there was a zillion butterflies. So I was up for a few more hours. I was looking at pictures of me and Louis or just pictures of Louis in general.

I know that this ☝️ is millie but pretend it's not.

It was around 2am when I realized what time it was so I turned off my phone and went to sleep.

(A/n: the next chapter will start at the end of the last day of school. Hope you all liked this chapter and you continue reading.
