"There'll be a drinking barbeque party tonight in our department. Wanna come?" Hillary asked Luisa and Grace.

"Sure! I'm in for a drink." Luisa said.

"I'm not sure-"

"Come one it'll be fun." Hillary said.

"I don't think we've seen Ms. Cerson attending departmental drinking parties since ever right?" Kelly added.

"She could be scary-that's why." Hillary said.

"You've been allowed to hang with us more often now. Don't tell me you've broken up?" Luisa teased.

"We weren't even dating yet-"

"So you were thinking of dating her huh?" Luisa teased again.

"Shut it." Grace scowled.

Hillary hit Luisa's back.

"Maybe she realized that not letting me have interaction with others is no go-"

"Hey isn't that Ms. Cerson?" Kelly asked.

Grace and the other looked at a table not far from them. Kath was catching with some managers with a sweet smile. That was new. Kath never ate inside the cafeteria, she would often buy takeouts.

"Looks like your dearie is hunting someone else." Luisa teased.

'How does she know that- that's not the point.' Grace thought to herself.

"How'd you know she calls me dearie?"

"Our dear Hillary told us that." Luisa said as she put an arm around Hillary.

"Don't be too clingy later. My girlfriend would be jealous." Hillary said.

Luisa moved her arm away and laughed. I was surprised, this is the first time I've heard of this.

"Oh, Hillary hasn't told you right? She's dating someone, and it's a girl. Well, Kelly and I don't know who it is. She said she'll tell us in the future, but it's already been a YEAR. A YEAR I say." Luisa said, emphasizing the words 'a year'.

"I think you should find someone yourself." Hillary said.

"That's not fair." Luisa glared.

"Besides, I don't want to be in that kind of relationship. Having my friends is enough. Pax is also there for me anyways." Luisa continued.

"Your dog really?" Grace teased.

"Hey, she's cute. And, mine. You can go and win your dearie instead of teasing me." Luisa retorted.

Kelly just chuckled.

"See Kelly agrees with me." Luisa said, defending herself.

"It's because she had a recent break up with Max." Hillary explained.

"Who's Max?"

"Max was also part of our circle two months ago. He and Kelly were dating for three months already, but sadly he got transferred. They broke up shortly after.

It was a good break up though, not a complicated one." Luisa explained further.

To their surprise, Kath walked towards then and was now behind Grace.

"Hi dearie, here's some yogurt for a healthy body." Kath said as she waved with a warm smile to Hillary, Luisa, and Kelly before walking away.

"I can't believe Ms, Cerson- I mean Kath would allow us to call her by her first name."

"Bro, she even sat with us. Being the manager is great. Have you seen her warm smile?" another said.

"She's been awfully nice to others these days." Grace said quietly with a wrinkled forehead.
