Tessa was woken because someone was tugging on the hem of the dress she wore . her eyes fluttered open to see little dana sitting next to her , holding a cupcake in her small and chubby hands .
Dana was the daughter of alexander and cassia , she was their apple in the eye . Elijah was the one who loved to spoil her .the thought itself brought a smile in her face , a sad smile . dana noticed the change in her posture and said " aunt tessa do you want a cupcake , i already had one " she said in her baby voice making tessa smile , but this time not a sad smile, an affectionate smile . tessa nodded her head and sticked her hand out . dana put the blueberry cupcake in her hand . But tessa didn't have it whole she divided it into half and put the other half into dana's little mouth and she bite on it happily . Dana was lying , she haven't had any cupcake , and that was the only one she got today . but seeing her aunt like this , she was not satisfied . so she gave her cupcake to tessa , but tessa knew her well . so well that she can find weather she is saying the truth or not by just looking into her eyes . by the way she was looking at the cup cake with longing tessa knew that she was lying , so she broke half of the cupcake and gave it to her with a smile and then she ate her half .
dana threw her small arms around tessa and hugged her , tessa hugged the little girl and cried , all the memories flooded back , and then the picture of her mates dead body which laid in the cold ground projected itself inside her head , the pain was unbearable for her she cluched on her growing bump with one hand and with the other hand she clutched on dana for her dear life . but their was something beside then pain she was feeling , that were the emotions she tried to keep bottled forever . something inside her snapped , she tried to keep her self in check but the pressure was too much that it made her whole form shaking , dana noticed her posture and looked at her face in confusion but what she saw utterly shocked her . Tessa eye colour kept shifting from her baby blue colour to sharp golden-red ones and her beautiful chestnut hair was now midnight black . " just like the stories" dana whispered ....................
