It's been months after what happened , Caroline is avoiding and ignoring Klaus altogether and Caroline's birthday is fast approaching in this chapter. Mason Lockwood is alive in this story, because He is too hot to be killed in TVD, which I dont see the significance at all. Mason have a huge crush on Caroline which infuriates Klaus. Also Rebekah is back since Freyah finally made the antidote of the poison.

It has been months since Klaus told Caroline about what happened between Him and Cami. The family is finally complete that Rebekah and Kol are back and somewhat peaceful in the Mikaelson's way. Lucien is dead and the Strix finally moved on.

Elijah annnounced that they should have a family dinner and that everyone is expected to be there.

Caroline just came in from her errand, shopping some clothes for the twins since they seems to grow fast.
"You should have told me that you went shopping because I should have gone with you, It's not the I don't like you Caroline, we just had a bad start, however, I do really love those twins, I think they are the most adorable, second to Hope of coarse" Rebekah told her smiling as Caroline placed all the shopping bags on the table.
"Actually, there is something I want to ask you and Freyah, I want the twins to be baptized and I am hoping that you and Freya will be the Godmothers and will also help me put together a family luncheon after?" Caroline asked Rebekah.

" I'd love to, as a Godmother, it is my duty to prepare the luncheon, so don't worry about it and it is my honor, Caroline" Rebekah replied excitedly.

"It is my birthday 5 days from now and I am thinking that I want them to be baptized that day as well, you know, just making it into a double celebration, although my birthday is not a big deal to me anymore, the baptism is more important and thank you for doing this for the twins; to start over and friendship then?" Caroline asked Rebekah while offering her hand, and Rebekah accepted it and hug her afterwards . The two blondes smiling to each other.

Klaus came to the courtyard and gawk at what He is seeing. Caroline and Rebekah are talking and laughing like they are bestfriends since birth. " this is surprising! What did I missed? Suddenly the 2 of you are acting like BFF's?" Klaus asked them. " We realized that we didn't really disliked each other, we just had a bad start and decided to start over, Nik" Rebekah told Klaus since Caroline is still set on ignoring him.

He missed talking to her but He just give her the space that she seems to need considering that he hurt her, hoping the she will eventually forget what happened and forgive him, but it has been months already. He did everything to make it up to her. He finally tracked the Armory people and killed all of them, shutting down that organization for good, to keep Her and the twins safe. All she said was thank you to him, when he told her what he did, and back to ignoring him once again. He even told Cami that they should finally distance themselves because he don't want Caroline to think that something is still going on, but still, it seems it is not enough, and these past weeks, He is getting impatient and starting to get angry for the way she still acts towards him, ignoring and avoiding him still. I mean for the love of God, what is he suppose to do just to be forgiven. What really angers him is that how much he is missing her, her smile, their talks, him touching her. It is driving him to his limit already.

Everyone is sitting in the table and Elijah raised his glass " To family and peace!, I am happy to say that we deserved this, finally complete and somewhat at peace, something that we all fought hard, so we all deserved this." Everyone agreed and smiled then Rebekah told everyone that she is throwing a luncheon for the twins' baptism and Caroline's birthday.

"Why not make it a party then" Klaus suggested, looking at Caroline first then Rebekah. "As Elijah said, we all deserved this and this calls for a celebration for several reasons, so might as well throw a party. Caroline, are you for it, love" He asked while smirking at her. "I don't really care, all I want is to have the twins to be baptized but if you want a party, then sure, why not, this could be fun, right Bex? Caroline asked Rebekah excitedly since she really miss organizing something especially a freakin party.

Caroline just came out of the cake shop when she bumps into someone really familiar. "Mason Lockwood!? Oh, my! I haven't seen you in ages, what are you doing here in New Orleans? Caroline asked. "My pack is here, wolf business actually. It's good to see you, Caroline. I mean you really look good, more beautiful than ever" Mason told Caroline while literally checking her out. They catch up and Mason offered to walk her home.

Klaus just came from Rosseus talking with Marcel when he spotted Caroline talking to some guy in his doorstep and it irked him to see that Caroline is giving the guy her brightest smile and to top it all, the guy close in and give her a peck in her cheeks. His blood boiled while he approached them. "Aren't the two of you too cozy in my doorstep!" Klaus told them angrily. "I'm Sorry, this is Mason Lockwood, Mason, this is Klaus Mikaelson." Caroline introduced Mason, noticing the angry look of Klaus. " You seems to be always happy in a company of a lockwood, Caroline! I guess the lockwood muts always interest you!" klaus taunted her while refusing to take Mason's hand and just walk passed them and went inside his mansion. Caroline apologized to Mason and told him about Klaus history with Tyler and end up inviting him to the party which she did intentionally to get back to Klaus.
