"Thanks for driving me oppa , sorry if I have to bother you on your off day .." I said as I grabbed my bag.

"No problem Areum , see you later yeah ?" He asked and I nodded , getting out of the car. I walked through the gates seeing bodyguards around a huge house.

Well , my parents are actually millionaires. They are the CEO of the company they own , The Grande. The door open as I step into a huge hallway , seeing a brand new chandelier hung up.

"It's only been 2 years since I left and here they are , buying new stuff for the house .." I sigh , rolling my eyes.

"Eomma ! Appa !" I shouted as I look around.

"Over here~" I turned to the dining room , walking towards it.

"Eomma , I- what the hell are you doing here ?" I frown seeing Mingi having tea with my parents.

"Hey babe .." he said , smiling.

"What are you doing here Mingi ?" I asked , folding my arms.

"Your parents invited me over for tea .." he said as he smile towards my parents.

"Really mom ?" I asked.

"What ? Can't I invite your boyfriend ?" She asked making me roll my eyes.

"Look , if he is around , I am not staying , I thought it's the only the 3 of us .. why must you invite this jerk ?" I asked in frustration.

"Mind your words Areum." Said appa.

"What ever , I am not going to stay here if this guy is here ," I said as I grabbed my bag , walking out of the room.

"Areum !" Shouted mom but I ignored it , going upstairs. I went into my room , slamming the door shut. I sigh , throwing my bag on to my bed. I plopped down on my small couch , groaning.

Unknown's POV.

I look at my computer as I researched about Areum. Soon thousands pictures of her came out making me smile but one caught my eyes. I printed it out and frown.

"Who is this guy with her ? What is he to her ? Why is she touching my girl ?" I thought as I clutch the picture.

Areum's POV.

"So how's everything Mingi ?" Asked appa.

"Everything is fine right now sir .." He said making me roll my eyes.

"Hope you don't mind our daughter's unexplained attitude .." he continued.

"Oh no , I don't mind , I find it cute .." said Mingi as he held my hand. I push his hands off and turned to him.

"Please , I don't want anyone to touch me right now , so if you don't mind , never touch me , thank you." I said as I got up with my empty bowl.

I was washing the dishes when eomma came in , sighing.

"Why can't you be a little nice to Mingi ?" She asked. I ignore the question , continue doing my dishes.

"Kim Areum , I don't want to repeat myself .." she said and I sigh.

"Did you forget what he did to me ?" I asked drying my hand.

"That was a long time ago .." She said.

"A long time ago ? He cheated on me and now the both of you are acting like he didn't .." I said , folding my arms.

"Everyone deserves a second chance hon .." she said making me chuckle in disbelief.

"Second chance ? A jerk like him , don't need a second chance." I said sternly.

"Please Areum .. for the sake of me and appa .." she said and I shook my head.

"I did everything the both of you want , have u both ever consider my feelings ?" I asked.

"Nope." I continue.

"This is for our family sweetie .." she said as she held my hands.

"But I don't want it to be like this .. I want it my way , if you and Appa can't accept it then , I don't get why I am still here .." I said , walking pass her.

"Areum !" Shouted mom but I grabbed my purse , walking out the house.

I stood outside the gate as I dialed my manager's number.

"Sorry , the number you have dialed is not available."

I groan as I look at my phone.

"I guess I have to take a cab .." I said as I shove my phone into my bag and begin walking to a nearby taxi stand.

I was walking alone as I enjoy the peaceful moment. Suddenly I hear footsteps coming from behind making me stop my track. I turn , not seeing anyone. I shrugged it off seeing a taxi stand. I quickly walked towards it and sigh , taking a seat on the bench as I wait. Soon I heard a faint whistle. I look around not seeing anyone but soon I froze , realising that I have heard this whistle before.

I shot up , feeling goosebumps all over my body. I started sweating nervously. Suddenly I heard footsteps , walking towards where I was.

"Hello ?" I called out but no one answered. I then could see someone walking with his hood on.

"Um is anyone there ?" I asked as I slowly took a step back. My breathing then became unsteady as I clutch my phone tightly with my shaking hand.

"Hello !" I said again and soon he stopped. I frown , as I slowly walked towards him. Soon there was a honk making me jump. I turned back seeing a familiar car. The car stopped and soon my manager came out of the car.

"Thank god you are here ! I got your call when I reach your house , your mom said you left .. I knew you were here." He said as I frown.

"Wae ? What's wrong ?" He asked looking at where I was looking.

"N-Nothing ..I thought I saw something .." I said as I rubbed my forehead.

"Let's get going , you have a schedule tomorrow .." he said and I nodded. He then started walking back to the car as I followed from behind. I open the car door and turn to where I saw the shadow.

"Areum ? Come on .." said my manager as he started the engine. I got on and close the door , feeling uneasy. That whistle was the exact same one from yesterday. God , what's happening ...

"Is this real or am I dreaming ?"
