(Gracie's POV)
"Hey you okay? What're you doing over here near those guys?" Rick asked as he crouched down to my level.
"Honestly, that's normally where I sit but I was late and they took my spot. I was just trying to draw the tree and josh thought I was looking at him, and then came over to yell at me." I explained, my voice shaking from tears.
"Don't you normally sit at the pride table in the cafeteria once a week?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, I did that on Wednesday though." I said staring at the ground.
"How about you come hang out with my friends! Kevin and Joe." He said standing back up, I shrugged.
"Why not." I sighed and grabbed my bag, I put it on my back and followed rick, we walked far enough that we were now in the cafeteria. I saw 2 people sitting alone at a table, one of them noticed rick and waved him over. We both sat down at the table, I smiled and grabbed my iPad and Apple Pencil. I lent my iPad at the perfect angle for me to be able to draw,
"Forgive me, but I don't really like talking." I said before continuing to draw the tree.
"That's all good, I'm Joe, and that's Kevin. You are...?" He questioned
"I'm Gracie, but just say Grace. It's easier for the both of us." I smiled and went back to drawing. Rick grabbed his phone and texted someone as the other two continued their conversation. After about 10 minutes one of the guys that was under the tree from earlier walked over and joined us at the table."Hey, I'm Gaege!" He said smiling to me.
"Uh Huh." I said focusing on my art.
"What're you working on?" He asked trying to catch a peek at my iPad. I slammed the screen of my iPad down on to the table.
"It's not done." I sighed and glared at him, my eyes widened after I recognised who he was. "Ah, your one of Josh's friends."
"How'd you know?" He asked.
"I can recognise your face and name, your Juicyfruitsnacks. And before you ask, No I'm not a fan. I don't even follow you on Instagram, but you follow me for some reason." I said smiling.
"Oh shit.. wow." He said rubbing his neck.We ended up having a nice conversation for half an hour.
"It's nice to know not all of Josh's friends are mean" I laughed.
"He's not mean once you get to know him, he just doesn't like you for some reason, I don't know why." He sighed.
"Yeah, well what about your other friends?" I asked.
"What about them?"
"Are they nice or are they as mean as Josh?"
"Well, Josh and Mully are both as mean as each other but the rest of us, Eddie, Narrator and I, we are more chilled back and relaxed. I know Narrator hates when josh yells and loses his temper, same with Eddie." He smiled.
"Sounds like Josh and Mully are just the toxic friends" I laughed. He laughed too.
"Yeah." He smiled then the bell rang. I quickly gathered my things and ran to my art class. Gaege followed behind. I assumed he had the same class again.
"You coming in the class room?" I asked.
"Yeah, once the boys get here. See you inside!" He smiled and waved as I entered the lecture hall. I made my way to a seat and sat there, the teacher walked in soon after. Almost straight after the boys walked in the room, before the other students. I shrugged and pulled out my phone and iPad to finish off the tree drawing. The teacher soon enough walked over and looked at my screen. He smiled."Nice drawing!" He smiled "you can finish that off with extra detail for this final class." He said before leaving. I smiled and continued. I felt a few pairs of eyes staring at me. I looked back, I saw Eddie, Josh and Narrator watch me draw. I looked back. Eddie and Narrator smiled josh just glared. I turned back to my iPad and just continued drawing. I sighed as the words from josh echoes through my head. I tried my hardest not to cry, I focused on my drawing. I kept feeling like I was being watched. I turned my head to face the group of boys and saw josh staring at me. He was right up against the desk, I let out a gasp.
"W-what do you want?" I questioned. He grinned and grabbed my Apple Pencil.
"HAY! GIVE THAT BACK!" I yelled. He sat back down
"MISS HÄUSLER!" The teacher yelled from the front of the room. I gasped and faced the teacher"What's so Important to yell!"
"Josh took something from me that I need for this lesson!" I growled facing josh and the other boys.
"Where's your proof?" Josh snickered. I sighed and teared up.
"The fact it's in your hand is my proof..." I sighed and sat back down.
"Josh, give it back." The teacher sighed
"But I don't have it!" Josh said trying not to laugh.
"Bullshit" I said under my breath. I looked over at the group, Gaege was glaring at Josh.(Gaege's POV)
I sighed and stared at Josh. He looked back.
"What?" He said as the teacher had gone back to teaching
"Can I have the pencil?" I grinned.
"Why?" He asked.
"I was gonna put it in my bag." I laughed. I hated trying to be mean. I felt the gaze of Narrator, Eddie and Gracie. I put my hand out. He handed it to me, I went to put it in my bag. I stomped on the ground to get Gracie's attention. She looked over, I rolled the pencil over to her. She smiled and picked it up off the ground. She mouthed the words, "Thank you" I smiled and zipped up the bag. Both Eddie and Grant had seen so when I looked at them they were grinning. I rolled my eyes.(After class)
Gracie quickly ran out the building I shrugged and gathered my stuff. Mully and josh had left early for unknown reasons to us boys.
"Nice act back there Gaege" Narrator said smiling.
"What?" I questioned. "oh! Thanks." I smiled.
"It's fine Dawg, you convinced us and josh!" Eddie laughed.
"At least she has it back now." I smiled and grabbed my bag. We all left the building, and went back to our dorm as we weren't going anywhere for the break. I heard a lot of noise coming from the dorm #35 we were dorm #40.
"Give me a second." I said to the other two before peeking my head out of the dorm. I looked down the hallway and saw Grace walking out with her suit case and backpack. I ran to Catch up with her."Hey!" I said and grabbed her hand. I'm pretty sure I startled her cause she jumped.
"Oh, Gaege. Hey." She said smiling.
