Jimin sits inside of Eunji's cabin, the soft scent of patchouli and vanilla comforting the young omega who is currently sleeping on her couch. After showing up unannounced at her cabin last night, the older had made him a cup of tea in hopes to calm his nerves and it did just the trick - putting him right to sleep.

She was left perplexed most of the night after hearing Jimin's disheartening plea. He had begged, over and over for the older to help him, to break the bond and Eunji couldn't think of anything worse to do at such a young age.

She stands in the kitchen now, preparing a plate of bacon and eggs for the young omega who is fast asleep, snoring softly. He's tucked beneath a fur blanket and sprawled out, probably since he would be in maximum pain if he were to lay any other way.

"Break the bond! Break the bond, please. He doesn't-he doesn't want me. He knew who I was and he-and he didn't want me." Jimin's heartbroken stuttering contributes to reply in Eunji's head. How could someone possibly reject their soulmate? What would make someone do that?" It leaves a bitter tastes in her mouth to even think about breaking that type of bond - especially given that Jimin has barely reached adulthood. Making such a rash decision could cause problems later on down the line, problems that Eunji doesn't want to be responsible for.

Is there another way? One that could be less intense and strenuous on them? Eunji's eyebrows pop up, and she quickly pours another cup of tea and sets it nex to the plate that she leaves for the sleeping boy. She throws her furs on over her shoulders, and slips into her shoes. Surely, the library will have answers. So, she creeps out of her home and closes the door quietly before heading towards her fathers house.

The library sits offset to the left behind the head elder's cabin, and once she arrives she greets the beta who is busy rearranging books. But, that's not what worries her. Over in the corner in a chair sits her son. He has a leg draped over the side of the chair, and a book has fallen flat on his chest - the pages turning as a gust of wind flows in through the window. He's asleep, head back and lips parted.

"What can I help you find?" The beta asks softly, careful not to wake the sleeping alpha.

"I-," she turns back to her son, who awkwardly tries to adjust. She directs her attention back to the clerk, sighing as she does so. "I need all of your books on bonds."

The clerk hums, adjusting their glasses before walking over to one of the bookshelves. Journals from ancestors reside within the shelves that sit low on the ground. Hundreds of them line the walls, and Eunji can't wait for the day hers is there as well. "What type of bond?"

"Soulmate." She frowns, eyes scanning the side of the journals, searching for certain names. Eunji has unfortunately been the one to break too many mating bonds, too many physical and emotional bonds because some were insecure in their relationship or couldn't stand the one the stars had them teathered to. It was never something she enjoyed, but she always swore to herself that she would never break a soulmate bond. Being connected to someone on every level so deeply was never something she could bring herself to do. She's heard stories of the pain, of the strife and lifetime of unhappiness the breaking of the bond brings - and she could never preform such a ritual on the young omega.

"If it helps, I'm not looking to break the bond. Simply something that could help lessen the pain of rejection, or better yet allow the omega to move on. I'm aware, and I understand that omegas and alphas both experience the bond differently but I just-,"

"Is this about the Park boy?" He asks, bending down and pulling out a leather journal, the pages yellowing on the sides. "He suddenly doesn't want his mate?"

"It's not that," she runs her fingers along the binding of one of the books. "It's that his mate continues to reject him. He said the alpha knew who he was, and never looked for him."

The beta hums in acknowledgment. "You want him to stay? Hope that he at least has the choice to mate with someone else?" He whispers.

"That's correct," she softly smiles. "It would appear he only has three weeks left to find a mate before my father throws him out to survive on his own."

"Where did that..." the beta mumbles to himself, getting closer to the books in hopes to read the names better. "It was just right here yesterday." He hisses. "There's one more book you'll need." He pulls two more off the shelf and hands them to Eunji who gratefully takes them.

"What's the problem?" She furrows her eyebrows, carefully leaning closer in order to help the beta.

"I'm missing a book!" He baffles, standing up straight and placing his hands on his hips. His gray hair falls into his eyes in the process, and just as he's turning to face the older omega, his eyes catch on the dark blue cover of a journal. "Jungkook," he grumbles. He approaches the alpha who sleeps like a brick, and plucks it out of his hands carefully. He hands it to Eunji who hesitantly reaches a hand out, eyeing Jungkook carefully. "It would appear your son also has a fascination with the soulmate bond." A chill runs up Eunji's spine, and suddenly her vision goes black.

Jungkook runs through the forest, paws slamming heavily into the ground as he breathes in the alluring scent of cardamom and lavender. It's pulling him in, and his mouth waters every time the wind blows.

In the distance he can see the faint flicker of lights, and he would have kept moving towards him if a familiar growl wouldn't have stopped him. He comes to a halt at the sight of a large, red wolf who lurches in front of him - keeping him from moving any closer to the tiny village.

Jungkook snarls in response, and moves to take a step forward but as soon as he does the wolf in front of him moves onto his back legs before coming back down, baring his teeth and growling as he does so. He barks, demanding for the smaller alpha to submit.

And Jungkook does. Turning his head away from his grandfather, even though their eyes are still locked.

The black furred alpha lowers to the ground, standing down.

"Eomma?" Eunji is brought back to when Jungkook is in the middle of shaking her. She gasps for hair, hands reaching out to place on his shoulders in order to steady herself. "What happened? Did you have a vision? Are you okay?"

"Not a vision." She breathes out shakily, gaze holding her son's own. "A flashback. Why didn't-"she furrows her eyebrows, panting for air. "Why didn't you tell me it was Jimin-ah?" She questions. "Why didn't you tel me you had found your soulmate?"
