Q: what's your name? Where are you from?
Four days have passed, and the closest Jimin has gotten to the Jeon Jungkook would be last night at the bonfire. The alpha had walked nearly right in front of him, and if Jimin had thought about it - he probably would have tripped or made Jungkook fall or something. He's kicked himself left and right for not having taken the opportunity, and his omega isn't the happiest with him either. Hence, why he's alone at the hot springs right now.
Taehyung told him about the springs only a few hours ago, and his wolf was burning beneath his skin - he needed out. So, he went on a run.
He emerges from beneath the surface of the spring only for the autumn breeze to wrap around him like a blanket, sending a shiver down his spine. He runs his fingers through his hair, clear droplets of water fall from the caramel colored locks on his head and drop down onto his face before cascading down his torso. He places his arms on the bank, gently laying his head down against them as he takes in a deep breath.
Everything is clearer up here. Not in the sense of Jimin knowing what he wants, but he has space to breathe, quietness to think. The grass is still green, but the flowers are starting to fade, leave are scattered on the ground all around him. The birds chirp and the crickets creek and he's able to focus on how wonderful everything still is, despite the odd circumstance.
At the sound of leaves crunching, Jimin's head shots up, and his nostrils flare as he takes in a sharp breath. He turns around, arms falling into the water as he leans back up against the bank, the grass tickling the back of his neck. He's at a loss for words, which hasn't ever really been the case. His eye lashes flutter, heart races and he's overcome by the scent of leather and musk. It's nearly suffocating, especially under the fiery gaze of beading red eyes. Jimin can feel his pulse in his throat and he wants to say something, he's dying to say something but he can't help but shrink in on himself and advert his gaze instead.
"Sorry, I didn't know anyone was up here... I figured everyone would be preparing for tonight." Jungkook doesn't sound anything like the blonde had expected him to. His voice is softer, sweeter than he had initially thought.
"What's happening tonight?" Jimin asks softly.
"It's my grandmother and grandfathers 50th anniversary. The whole pack is celebrating with them."
"I'm not part of the pack." Jimin says softly, adverting his gaze towards his clothes which sit at Jungkook's feet.
God, what's wrong with him? He's been dying to talk and get to know the boy in front of him since he stepped foot into the village and now what? He just can't? Doesn't want to? His wolf stirs again, and this time Jimin has to clear his throat to cover the whine that desperately tried to escape.
Jungkook shifts awkwardly on his feet, still looking down at the boy who sits still in the spring.
"Do you mind if I join?"
Jimin raises an eyebrow. "If I say no?" Submit. Submit. Submit. His wolf pulses inside of him, clawing at his skin, telling him to he compliant, nice. Don't be stupid. Now is your chance.
"Then we won't be able to talk about it."
Jimin looks down at the water, and slowly nods his head. He hears ruffling, and he practically has to force himself not to stare, knowing that Jungkook is undressing right in front of him. He turns around, placing his arms back up on the bank, trying to even his breathing as the water gently splashes, creating ripples that echo through the still water.
He's closer now, close enough that Jimin fan feel the alphas heat and the omega can feel his wolf practically panting, starting to bask in the warmth that's surrounding them now - causing goosebumps to rise on his skin.
