Sweat, paint, sore body, less money. That's how we are now; sweaty and sore after a month of hard work, covered in different coloured paint from painting all the walls in the house, closer to being broke from all the money spent in furniture and decorations and stuff.

But now we've finished, and we hopefully won't need to sleep on a tent outside. Because, yes, we've been sleeping in a tent outside for the last month.

"Kitchen's done!" Dad yells.

I'm in the living room with Moony putting the last decorations in their place.

"Let's see if we made the right decision by trusting him with a full room" I say to a happy Remus and we both make our way to the kitchen.

"Wow..." we mutter.

It's painted in a very light shade of grey. Basically all the furniture is made of quite light coloured wood. There're some plants here and there and some lamps illuminating the place. A wooden table with four kind-of-armchairs around it. The oven below the stove, a shiny marble countertop with a bunch of kitchen thing on top of it. Four white cabinets attached to the wall, above the counter.

An outsider wouldn't think that Sirius Black had decorated this kitchen; it doesn't look like something that he would do. But, honestly, I think this is the inside of Sirius Black. The real mind of Sirius Black.

"So?" Dad asks, "Do you like it?"

Moony and I just look at each other and throw ourselves at Dad, and almost falls on the floor in a laughing mess.

"I'll take that as a yes" he chuckles out.

I hear the bell ring. We all let go and look at each other; who could be visiting us? We haven't told anyone where we live yet.

"I'll go" I say, and walk to the front door.

A young girl stands there. She has a heart-shaped face, light skin, dark twinkling eyes, and really cool, really eccentric gum-coloured hair.

"Hey" she says happily, "You're Jupiter, aren't ya?"

"Yeah..." I answer, "And you are...?"

"Nymphadora!" Dad yells behind me.

"Don't call me that" says the girl, whose name was apparently Nymphadora, her hair turning slightly red.

"Oh, fine..." Dad answers, giving her a hug.

"Okay, what's happening?" I ask.

"Oh, yeah" says Nymphadora, "I'm Tonks, and I'm your cousin!"

Wow. Cousin? Like, from Dad's part of the family? That's weird... always thought all my cousins would look like Draco or even worse.

"Her mother, Andromeda," Dad explains, "was the only good Black in the family. Well, except when Regulus decided to be nice for once..."

"Yeah, she married a Muggle-Born, my dad," Tonks continues, "so she was kind of wiped out of the family"

"Welcome to the club..." Dad mutters.

"Oh, hello Tonks" Remus says as he arrives.

"Remus," she says, "you live here too? Wait... don't tell me you two lovebirds finally got together"

Remus looks down, clearly blushing, but Dad just beams and takes his hand.

"Well it was about time!" she says, grinning, "It takes a man going to Azkaban for twelve years for this to happen!"

Dad looks slightly disturbed.

"Sorry, was that insensitive?" Tonks asks, concerned.

But Dad puts on a smile and says, "It's okay... but you're there talking as if you remember when I was sent there... how old were you, really?"

"Eight" she answers, "But I kinda remember Mum talking about it"

"Well, get inside, there's no point standing there" Remus says.

We get inside and keep talking for hours. Apparently, since she's an Auror, she found a way of finding out where we lived. She is the exact opposite of what I thought to be a member of the Black family. She's just totally awesome (A/N: I'm definitely not sorry for the references) and I feel like she's going to be a helpful and special someone in our lives.

"Hey, you guys should come to see my folks!" she says, "They'd like to see ya"

"We could go there-" Dad begins, but Tonks interrupts him.

"The place's pretty cool, by the way" she says, looking around, "Did you do this all yourself?"

"Yeah" I say, "Spent the last month doing it"

"It's great!" she says, getting up and walking to a bookcase and taking a jar with some flowers in it, "This is so cute..." she mumbles, looking back at us while putting it in its place again. Then crash! The jar crashes, the water spreads out, the flowers falls delicately on the floor. "Oops... I'm sorry, I-"

"It's fine" Dad laughs while Moony draws his wand and puts everything back in place.

"I've always been a bit clumsy..." she explains, "That was quite a problem while studying to be an Auror... actually, that's always been a problem" she laughs, "but I try to not knock things off! Try..." she adds, laughing along with us.
