Chapter 5

Amber's P.O.V

And once again Lily abandoned me after Kevin took her out for a surprise date. Thank God I had Noah with me.

"Thanks a lot for dropping me Noah", I smiled.

"You don't need to thank me, its totally my pleasure", he smiled back.

He reversed his car & drove away. Oh my God, this guy is so nice & so amiable. He has that magic effect that makes people automatically like him.

"Lily! I need you at the office now!!", I shrieked at her on the phone.

" B-but why?", she groaned.

"Boss is really mad at you, he wants you here right now", I informed.

"Umm, okay", she hung up the call with a slight disappointment.

I really didn't wanted to ruin her date with Kevin but It would've cost her job. After about 20 minutes she reached the office & was practically panicking. "I'm so sorry buddy, I really didn't- -", she cut me off saying, " That's okay Amber, let me meet him first", she sighed. & went to his room.

And I just got a text from Kevin,

Kevin : Is she alright?
Me      : Just panicking :')
Kevin : Fuck! Fuck her boss!

I wonder what the hell lily did that made Mr. Anderson so infuriated.

"Let's go Amber", Lily sighed behind me.

"W-what happened?", I raised my eyebrows at her suspense which kept growing. And all of a sudden she broke down in tears. Small droplets of water rolled down to her cheeks.

"He fired me from the job", she sobbed.

"Why!? Why the fuck did he even do that?", I asked wiping her tears with my fingers.

"He says, due to my carelessness in some client presentation our company incurred a huge loss & many clients refused to invest in our new project", she sobbed.

I pulled her for a hug & consoled her, "Let's go home, I'll find you a much better job than this".

I unlocked the main door using the keys and stepped inside slamming the door with Lily.

"I am tired Amber", Lily sighed in a exhausting tone & rested herself on the couch.

"Me too, it was definitely a tiring day",  I sat beside her letting out a big sigh. I felt kinda bad for Lily. She is really upset over the shit that happened today. I wanted to comfort her but I think I should let her be with herself today, rather I'll try to make some nice dinner for her. She'll be elated.

I got up from the couch, just at that moment the door bell rang. "Let me see", I suggested, indicating lily to keep sitting. I walked to the corridor & opened the door  revealing Liam!!

"Oh h-hey", I smiled with a confused look wondering how he got my address. "Woah! I didn't know it's your house. Sorry to bother you anyways. Actually my car broke down & I needed somewhere to wait", he stated in his deep mesmerising tone.

"That's really okay, you can just wait here", I widely smiled letting him in.

"Hey there", Lily smiled at him.

"Hey nice to meet you", Liam warmly smiled back.

"Just in case you don't remember I am Lily, Amber's best friend. We met at a café a few days ago", she laughed.

"And just in case YOU don't remember I am Liam, the one who caused scratches on your best friend's car", he laughed back tracing his fingers at the back of his head.

"Of course I remember. Make yourself comfortable, I'll be back", she giggled heading to her room.

Liam sat on the couch & kept staring at me as if I am his dinner. I looked at him which caused him to look away immediately.

"You have a nice house Ms. Amber", he bit his lips while checking me out.

"Umm, thanks", I smiled staring at his amazing lips. They looked irresistibly delicious.

He wore a black biker jacket over a black T-shirt pairing with black jeans. His jacket's sleeve were pulled to his elbow which revealed his veins on his hand. His sexy strong jawline & chiselled cheekbones added to his look. I couldn't stop myself gazing at him but I had to when he almost caught my eyes on him. So embarrassing!!

"Umm, can I use your washroom?", he asked gently.

"Yes of course", I led him towards my room & let him use my bathroom.

"Thanks", he smirked opening the bathroom. He stepped inside the bathroom & got out the next minute with a confused look on his face.

"The shower inside your bathroom is leaking", he stated walking in the bathroom again. I entered the washroom & glared at the leaking shower. I went near to it & tried to turn it off the shower which caused me to be drenched only.

My breasts were visible & my nipples are restraining against the thin fabric of my bra. "Oh shit", I mumbled to myself in embarrassment.

I noticed Liam's eyes travelled through my body & was fixated on my breasts. A look of pure hunger & lust flashed in his eyes making my heart beat faster than ever, pounding against my rib cage. He moved to me in a very sensual way. I closed my eyes for a few seconds. When I opened then again, he was right infront of me. He was close. Too damn close. I could feel his warm breath fanning against my cheeks.

I quickly stepped out of the washroom & stood infront of my bed. I turned around & found Liam again close to me, really close.

"I think I should-", I started, but never got to complete the sentence. He slammed his lips against mine even before I could finish saying. My body melted into his. All my feeling were tangled & knotted.

I moved my hands to his neck & ran my fingers through his soft hair while I knew we shouldn't be doing this. He pulled my face towards his to deepen the kiss & I moaned loudly. Good  Lord, this man knows how to kiss & tease making me suffering in a good way.

But I did something I really didn't want to but I had to.
