"c'mon y/n! It's gonna be fun" Josh said, dragging you out the door.
you were in tight black shorts, a baggy black long shirt with a cat headband.
Josh dressed in a black hoodie and shorts, he had a cat headband on aswell.
"josh I think we're to old for this. we're just wearing black with cat ears" you spoke. Being 18, josh almost 19, you thought you were way to old to be trick or treating.
"What do you mean? We're black cats"
josh replied. He handed you a white paper bag and intertwined your fingers with his.
"okay I gotta admit it's really cute, but will your neighbors even give us candy? They know how old you are.." you questioned. Josh had gone back to his hometown, Toronto, for the Halloween weekend.
"it's finee. Ooo let's go to ms. Jones house first! I haven't seen her in a while!" Josh says, he pulls you closer, wrapping his arm around you ensuring your safety as you both crossed the street.
"who's ms. Jones?" You ask him. You finish crossing the street and he links his hand with yours again.
"one of my neighbors. She's like 100 years old so she's nice." He replies. You laugh and you both continue walking, you reach a house. Josh knocks on the door and a old lady answers. She has a cane and everything.
"Josh? Hun I haven't seen you In forever! How have you been?" She asks, adjusting her little glasses.
"Good! Who's this?" she asks him. She gives you a big smile and of course you smiled back
"Oh this is y/n! She's my girlfriend"
Josh intertwines his hand with yours again.
"really! I'm so happy to hear that!" she smiles.
"josh is handsome isn't he. I'm ms. Jones! Nice to meet you" she shakes your hand.
"yea he is. Nice to meet you!" You giggled.
After a while of talking ms. Jones gives you and josh some of her homemade cookies and you and josh walked off.
"hey guess what ms. Jones said to me while you went to the bathroom" josh said.
"oh no. Does she not like me?" You asked him. He nodded and you sighed in relief.
"she said 'she's gorgeous, how to you ever look away?'" josh said. You mentally awed, why is the elderly so sweet?
"awe that was so nice of her! I really don't even know what to say" you blushed.
"well she's right. I wish I could look at you all day, y/n your really a sight to see." Josh said, pecking your lips.
Later you got to the neighborhood and you and josh started knocking on doors.
"Trick or treat!" Josh said, he was grinning ear to ear.
"I love the costumes! Here ya go!" a lady said, she gave you and josh some skittles. You and josh walked away and he looked in his bag.
"Damnit no Reece's?" he complained.
You laughed and you both continued going house to house until you eventually got home.
You both went inside and sat on the couch. William and Olivia walked in with their bags of candy
"y/n can we trade candy?" Willam asked you. You nodded and sat on an open space on the floor and you both dumped all your candy out onto the floor.
"I'll trade you that MnM's for this Hershey's?" William asked.
"Okay but throw in a kitkat" You said.
"woah you guys are trading candy? Without me?" Josh said, he sat on the floor behind you and you sat in between his legs, laying on his chest, his arms wrapped around your waist.
You and William continued trading candy, josh aswell. Eventually you sat up, Joshs chin rested on your shoulder. He decided to peck your neck and William stood up.
"Okay, gross. I'm going to sleep- night!" willam ran up the stairs. You and josh laughed
"We should probably go to sleep too" josh said, helping you up. You followed him upstairs into his room and you both fell asleep.
