Part 19: Another Day, Another Day

Eren lays up and pulls me up onto his lap hugging me close as I put my head into his shoulder

I felt safe as I sit there calming down more

"Y/n" Eren called my name

"Mm?" I said while my face was still in his chest

"Is it ok if you tell me about.. your mother..?" He asked me

My eyes widen but I know I can trust him as I lift my head up and nod
"My mom left me and my dad.. around when I was 5, my dad had enough of her when he found out she was abusing me and she kept telling me things that hurt me a lot and I keep hearing those words in my head causing me to sometimes have panic attacks.. But now I don't even have my dad to help me anymore.." I say

Erens eyes widen
"Well you have me" he smiles a bit and rubs circles on my back holding me close once again

I smile and I fall asleep on his shoulder

ERENS POV:

I look to see y/n asleep, I pat her head and carefully lay her down on the bed and put the blanket over her as I sit down next to her staring at her.. beautiful..sweet... face.. how could someone hurt her she's perfect in every way possible I don't understand some people in this cruel world..

This world is cruel.. but also very beautiful..

I sigh as I lay down next to her I didn't want her to have any nightmares and if she does I'll be here to stop them I carefully put my arms around her waist and close my eyes eventually falling asleep

~Next day and your POV~

I wake up to feel arms around my waist as I look behind me to see Eren I sigh in relief as I felt happy I turn my head to we're my body was facing I'm still not sure what this is called.. maybe I'll ask someone not sure who..? Who knows stuff about this.. I don't feel like asking Mikasa or Annie.. cause they will make me go all out for some odd reason.? I start thinking as someone comes in mind

*HANGE!*

I'm pretty sure she can help me, I'll ask her today I look back at Eren to see he's awake as I blush

"Morning Jaeger"

"Good morning y/n" he moves his arms as he sits up
"We have school today so I'm gonna head home and I'll see you at school?" He asked me

I nod in response

He smiles and kisses my forehead before leaving I hear my front door close and then.. silence..

I get out of bed and grab some clothes heading to the shower I was still kinda tired as I turn the water on hearing it hit the bottom of the tub I take my clothes off and hop in, the water was hot but I didn't mind it at all, the water woke me up as I wash my hair and body when I get out I put the towel around my chest to dry myself off as I blow dry my hair leaving it down my hair wasn't fully dry but it will work I change into a black crop top and a jacket with some jeans and converse I brush my hair and teeth as I grab my bag and look at the time

"7:16am"

My time to leave I open my door lock it and head off to school I plug in my headphones into my phone and put them into my ear listening to (favorite song) I put my phone in my pocket and walk to school I get there to see Annie and Armin but not Mikasa and Jean? Kinda weird if you ask me I walk up to them

"Hey guys? Wheres Mikasa and Jean?" I asked them

Armin looks at me
"Jean is out sick today and Mikasa is gonna take care of him" he says

I nod
"Alright, well I'm gonna head inside" I say
They both nod as I walk off

I get to my locker as I do the code and unlock it I open it I put my bag in and take my first 2 classes notebook and binder, I close my locker and turn around to see Eren

I jump a little
"Jaeger! You scared me!" I said

He scratches the back of his neck
"Sorry y/n, wanna walk with me?" He asked me

I smile and nod "Sure why not"

He smiles in response as we both walk to class together

We get to the classes as we wave to each other and walk into our classes and I sit at my desk putting my stuff down

~LUNCH TIME~

I walk over to the table where the group as only some people were there in fact.. it looks like there isn't a lot of people going to school lately.

I was actually really confused as I walk to the table and sit down looking at Armin

"I have a question" I ask him

Armin looks up from his notebook and looks at me
"What is it?"

"Is something going on? Like it looks like half of the school isn't here"

Armin looks around and sees what I meant
"I have no idea"

I sigh and to my surprise..

I didn't see Eren... anywhere..
