Fuyumi and Natsuo were jealous of Shouto because he gained all of their father's attention. That envy slowly turned into pity as they saw the way that Shouto was bruised and battered at such a young age. Going forward, they vowed to themselves that they would tend to their brother's wounds and be there for him no matter the consequences.
