(Jade's POV)
Of course I didn't make it in to class 1-A. Why did I even try. I can't even use my quirk over air and water correctly. I mean I tried so hard to get in but I just lost control. I mean having wings is cool but there is already a hero with wings and he's my dad!
I sat on my bed reading the letter over and over again. I laid down and almost fell asleep until my parents walked into the room.
"Soooo!" my parents said excitedly.
"1-C. Not 1-A not 1-B. 1...C" I said as I shoved my face into my pillow.
My parents were Pro-heroes. FREAKING PRO HEROES! So in there eyes I'm probably a failure. I could tell they were starring holes into my back. So, I got nervous not knowing what they where going to say. My wings started flapping rapidly as I my thoughts spiralled.
"Calm down Jade. Where aren't mad. At least you got into UA. And before you say you are calm, check your wings." my dad said. I didn't have to look at my wings. He's right I was upset .
"Okay dad. I'm sorry. Maybe it's for the best. I'll be on the roof if you need me." I said as I flew out the open window in my room.
(You sit on the roof when you are upset.)
Why did I even try? I know that they were disappointed. Or at least discouraged. I would be if my daughter sucked at her quirk. I know I should stop comparing myself to my parents but it's so difficult.
