As I sat down on the roof, as I do when I'm upset, I looked over to the right and saw a bot around my age looking up at the sky. Because I'm me, I decided to speak.
"Hey Purple Hair!"
"What do you want white wings?" he responded blandly.
"Why are you on the roof?"
He laughed and answered said "Cause I can be?" all of sudden I felt still.
I couldn't move my body. And All of a sudden I stood up. And I was walking towards the edge of the roof.
Then the wind blew and my wing hit my face snapping me back into control over my body. I look down. "Why am I on the edge on the roof. And why are you smiling?" I asked.
"I've never seen anyone break out of my quirk before." he said while quietly laughing.
"What's your quirk?" I asked as I moved back to my original spot.
"Brainwash. By asking a question I can control over people." he responded.
"You've never told anybody that have you?" I questioned while slightly smiling.
"Well, I go to UA so I had to tell somebody. Anyway, come over here for a second." he said while gesturing for me to come over there. I spread my wings and flew over to his rooftop. We sat in silence for about 5 minutes starring into the sunset.
"So, you go to UA High School?" I asked.
"Yea. Class 1-C." he said sounding kind of monotone.
"Oh I'm in 1-C as well. At least I might have a friend." I chuckled.
"A friend?" he said questionably.
"Yea. Have you never had one before?" I asked.
"Well . I have but very few people actually like me." he said as he looked back into the sunset.
"Well I can see why."
He rolled his eyes and brushed his hair back. Honestly, sitting with him and talking made me forget why I was up there in the first place. It was comforting. The warmth of the sun painting my skin gold and the breeze in my hair.
"Jade! It's time for dinner!" my dad called. I wanted to stay up on the roof forever. Why did he call me now?
"Oh well I guess we'll talk when I see you on the roof again at some point" I said while standing up to leave.
"Ok. Bye" as he waved goodbye.
