C H A P T E R - 19

We cooked a bit as well as bought some from some local restaurants.

"This better be good" Taehyun said as I chuckle and sit down.

"It looks good" I said.

"Yeah. Eat up" he said giving me a big chunk of meat.

"Thank you. You should eat too" I replied then start to eat.

Taehyun's phone in the table vibrated. He looked at it and turn off his phone.

"Uh... Who was that?" I asked.

"My father" he said as I gulp.

"Does that means he's already at home?" I asked.

"I don't think so"

"Okay"

After having dinner, I'm doing the dishes while listening to songs and Taehyun's standing next to me.

"You should just rest" I tell him.

"Nah, let me look at you" he replied smiling.

"You're going to make me feel nervous" I blushed as he smile.

"Why should you feel nervous, huh?" He laugh.

"I don't know" I replied and finish off. I take off my gloves and apron then turn to Taehyun.

"I don't feel like studying" I pout.

"There's nothing else to do but that, though" he replied.

"What test are we having again?"

"Chem" he replied as I sigh. "Don't worry. We'll study together" he continued then take my hands.

"Okay" I replied smiling.

I could see his phone on the worktop light up as I look at it.

"You've got a call" I said to him as he look at it and grab it.

"I'll just-" he said.

"Sure. I'll be at the living room" I said to him and walk away.

Taehyun sigh then call back his father.

"Where are you?"

"I'm not at home"

"Weren't you supposed to have dinner with Minyoung?"

"No. I let Mr. Kim-"

"She's at our house now. I'm not home and you're not home either. Do you know that we're at the verge of losing a potential investment? Answer me"

Taehyun sighed.

"Go home"

His father hang up.

Taehyun came in as I turn to him.

"I've got to go" he said taking his blazer and wear it.

"Now?" I asked as he nod.

I walk over to him and hug him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm okay. Don't worry" he said as I look at him.

"I'll walk you out" I said.

"No, it's fine. It's cold outside. You should stay inside" he replied smiling.

"Okay then. Call me when you reach home, okay?"

"I will. Good night Jiwan" he said and peck on my lips.

"Good night Taehyun"
