Nobody's POV

Finally the day was over and Jack was the first one to leave the classroom since his partner, Leo didn't show up today. He raced down the halls and ran out of the school gates and ran home. Why was he so excited?

Jack's POV

I ran all the way home just so I could see Violet. We were supposed to play that new game that realised a few days ago. Violet and I promised to play together  after school so I assumed she was waiting for me.

I got home but didn't see Violet. Well, I can't expect her to be here as soon as I arrived I mean she was sick today and all. I went up, showered and got dressed. I wore a yellow shirt, grey shorts and tied up my hair.

I waited for Violet's arrival but she didn't show. I decided to text her and I did. I texted to her starting

Hey Violet! How are ya feeling? I hope you're feeling any better.

So, uh, I know you're sick but I just wanted to know if you're still coming over to play?

I waited for a response but didn't get any. I waited for a while, then it took seconds, minutes to hours. I really wanted her to reply back but didn't get any. She always replied in seconds and never switched her phone off unless for a good reason.

I gave up hoping and decided to do something to get my mind off it. I went downstairs to see Jackélin talking to someone outside. I peeked through the window hoping to get a better look at the person but couldn't see their face.

Jackélin's expression seemed sad and terrified as if she was being threatened or something. But even if Jackélin was being threatened she'd just make that person's nosebleed and make them regret they were even born.

But Jackélin just stood there frozen shock. She looked helpless. I've never seen her like that before I was getting worried. After a while Jackélin stepped in the house and told me to run.

"What?" I said in fear.

"Listen, it's hard to explain right now, just listen to me, we need to leave!" She said shoving me out the backdoor.

"But what's going on? Who is that outside?" I asked desperately for an answer.

Jackélin just stopped and looked straight a head. She wasn't moving just looking straight in fear. Then I heard someone count "1..2..3...........boom.."
