Nobody's POV
The following day (Friday) Jack was on his way to school. Jackélin was sick today so she stayed home by herself. As soon as Jack reached the school gates he was excited to see Violet.
He race walked in the halls straight to his classroom and when he opened the door he couldn't see Violet. He assumed that she was running late and he sat down. He checked his watch to see it was 7:30 am.
Violet always came before this time, she was always early. But Jack didn't worry he was just coming up with logical reason why she could be late.
Finally, after sometime he checked his watch again to see it was 8:05am. He just thought she was sick and was upset she didn't come to school. Finally Mr. Laffayette walked in and class began.
After sometime Mr. Laffayette opened the door to let someone in. It was another teacher in the school. Mrs.Elizabeth. She was the art teacher and was the one hosting the partner project thing.
Jack's POV
Great. Jack thought. "Now I have to see Leo's face again," I quietly mumbled to myself. "I really find that guy annoying.." I said with a sigh. I waited for the 2 year students to come in so I could find Leo and work on the project but.
He wasn't there either. All the students from that grade came in but not Leo. After awhile I asked Mrs.Elizabeth if Leo was present today and she shook her head softly. I thanked her and went back to my seat.
Weird the two people that always act weird around me are both absent today. "Wow, I'm saying this like their both planning to kill me or something," I said a little to loudly.
Nobody's POV
Everyone turned around at Jack with awkward looking faces and someone even shouted awkward and everyone started laughing. Well besides Jack of course who was trying to hide his embarrassed self.
