I groaned when I felt a small hands caressing my cheeks then kissed it, after that I heard a cute giggled when I moved a bit. Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti ng maramdaman ang marahan na paghalik sa noo ko.
I caught Calvin and hugged him tight bago magmulat ng mata. I'm here at my parents house since I don't have work for three days.
Oh God, I will really thank my manager for this. I am really exhausted traveling to different places for fan signing event, interviews and shoots.
"Good morning, Calvin!" I sweetly greeted him then kissed his cheeks that earned a cute giggled from him.
"Morning ate!" He wrapped his tiny arms to my neck. "Play! Play! Play!"
"Okay, let me do my morning routine first." He pouted at mas lalong kumapit sa leeg ko.
"Come!"
I kissed him once again tsaka ko siya binuhat. Wala akong nagawa kung hindi ang isama. I put him in the sink to sit while curiously watching me, washing my face and brushing my teeth.
Calvin can be really clingy when it comes to me. He always wanted me beside him and it goes the same with me since hindi kami masyadong nagkakasama. Sometimes, mom calls me at middle of the night because Calvin wants to hear my voice.
After my morning routines, I let myself play with my brother to the living room. My parents will attend a meeting they want me to come but since walang makakasama si Calvin ay nagpaiwan na ako.
"Don't forget your meds, Alexa." My mother reminded me again for the nth times using her stern voice.
"Yeah, I got it, mom."
I secretly rolled my eyes pero nahuli niya ako kaya tinaliman niya ako ng tingin. I frustratedly raised my hand to surrender.
"Fine."
I kissed her cheeks before she left then I go back to Calvin to play again until he fell asleep. The maid insisted to clean our mess but I rejected her offer. Ako na ang naglinis habang nakatulog ang kapatid ko.
Nang magising naman siya ay nag-aya siyang maglalaro sa playground malapit sa amin. I didn't mind going out because our village is secure for our privacy. Most of our relatives are living here so there's nothing to worry.
"Careful!" Inalalayan ko siyang sinakay sa see-saw.
Nang magsawa naman siya ay nagpabuhat siya sa akin habang nginunguya niya ang bigay kong breadstix.
"Give ate some."
Inosenteng itinapat niya naman 'yon sa bibig ko kaya napatawa ako. My brother will always be adorable. And not only that, he's becoming more chubby with a good face. I don't know but I think the genes of my parents is a good blessing.
We're on the middle of playing when dad called me.
"Alexa? You're out?"
"Yes dad, we're on the playground, why? Are you home already?" I asked and gaze at my watch.
It's 4pm already, napaaga yata sila ng uwi?
"Yes, what time you'll come home? We have visitors today, but you can take your time there. Take care when you get home, okay?"
