We had awoken to Bayside being covered in a blanket of beautiful, glistening snow. I stared at it out the large picture window in Frank and Sarah's living room, clutching a cup of coffee while wrapped in the warmth of Steve's dress shirt.

Frank, despite being drunk beyond comprehension, was the first up and was far from hung over. He decided to wake everyone else by making a huge breakfast. Of course, the smoke detector was what actually caused us all to get up, the over sensitive alarm freaking out from a puff of smoke made from a drop of bacon grease hitting the burner.

While everyone went about getting showered and changed, I hung out in the living room. Being the only one who didn’t expect to be here I was the only one without a change of clothes.

“Andi,” Steve got my attention away from a bird hopping around by the base of a tree. “I’m all ready to go, if you want me to take you home.”

“Heading out already?” I swallowed the last of what was in my cup.

“Yeah, why not? Sarah and Frank don’t need us around all day. I think Gaylen and Beth are going to be heading out Christmas shopping after, and Tony’s going with them.”

“You make a good point,” I smirked. “Plus, I don’t think I'd be pulling off a new fashion trend by going with them like this.” I lightly tugged at the end of his dress shirt.

“You look hot in my clothes,” Steve gestured his hand up and down toward me and winked. He called out to Sarah that he and I were leaving; I heard her yell back but I couldn’t make out what she said. Steve and I headed to the entryway and got on our shoes and coats, and waved to the others as we left the house.

“I really should have been warned that Sarah and Frank’s was a possibility.” My voice shook as I tried to go down their slightly steep and very icy driveway in heels. Steve quickly came over to help me walk down to his car. He helped me in, closing the door and moving swiftly around to the other side.

“Honestly,” He said when he closed his door. He grabbed his seat belt and started to buckle. “Tony, Gaylen, and I kinda had a bet going as to who you’d have gone home with. And we all lost. The after party was not an option.”

“Whoa, wait a minute,” I said as Steve backed out of the driveway, laughing a little though I knew I should have probably been pissed. “Who bet on who?”

“I was the only Eddie. And I only bet on him 'cause that's who you came with. And, let’s face it, Nikki wouldn’t let Rob go for nothing. But Gaylen thought Rob would take you home but leave before he had the chance to do anything. Tony thought that you two would sneak out, go to Rob’s, do the nasty and then he would drop you off home like nothing happened.”

“Oh, how thoughtful you all are. Glad to know I’ve replaced Nikki as the town tramp.” I said with a smirk.

Steve laughed, quickly leaning over and kissing my cheek. “You are not the town tramp.”

“No?” I replied with giggled. “Two of you thought I was going to go home with a man who was not my husband, which in the end I did.”

“Look at it this way,” Steve said, “You didn’t leave with either of them. No one was right. Because you didn’t leave with Rob, no one is going to think anything of it. And those who did see you leave with me and didn't know we were joined by everyone else? Well, they got a fifty-fifty chance on being correct about sexual chemistry.”

I looked over at Steve, seeing disappointment coloring his features. “A fifty-fifty chance, huh?”

“Last night, up until I kissed you, I wanted you. Badly. I slept next to you all night, and had no desire to wake you and start something.” He sighed, “None. Now we’re driving home, and we’re having fun and all I can think about is: ‘what would happen if I pulled over and kissed her?’ But I won’t, because then I remember last night.”
