Diggy cuts off Nia's sentence because he's afraid that what she says next isn't going to be what he wants to hear, so he starts blahing. "Nia, I completely understand if you don't want to go out with me. I rather you say no and we continued on being friends....

Nia's cut Diggy off and says "YES!!!!!! Diggy I've been waiting for you to ask!!! I was starting to think that you didn't like me back or that you just weren’t ready for a relationship with me or something..."

Diggy damn nearly dies of happiness. He picks up Nia and spins her around three times before placing her oh so gently back on the ground beginning his small, but cute rant. "I'm so happy that you said yes!!! I thought that you were going to say no for a minute. For the past week I've been trying to prepare myself for the worst, but..." He stops mid-sentence and proceeds to scares deeply inside of Nia's big hazel almond shaped eyes. As he's scaring and as she's scaring back he can't help, but to feel even more grateful for all that God's done for him. He has an amazing family, a successful music career an awesome beautiful fan base, but there was always something missing in his life. Someone to call his own. Someone to send a "Good Morning Beautiful" and a "Good Night Beautiful" text to everyday. Someone to cuddle with on rainy days and sip hot coco with while watching the latest Romance Comedy movie on DvD. Someone who would be able to understand him for who he is as a person and not just Diggy Simmons the rapper, but him as Daniel Dwayne Simmons the III. He knew that at that moment that Nia was the one.

"But what?" Nia asks breaking the comfortable silence

"But" Diggy says shakily while breaking their connection and look at the ground "Wait, Are you sure? Are you sure and 100 % ready to go on a date with me this Saturday?"

Nia laughs and replies back overly excited while hugging Diggy "Yes! Yes and Yes!!!!"

Saturday: 7:45

*Knock Knock*

Diggy hears soft foot steps coming down the stairs as he waits patiently and nervously for someone to open the door to Nia's house.

"Who is it?" Calls a soft sweet voice from behind the door. Immediately Diggy thinks it's Nia's mother's because he remembers her saying how she had only one sister and brother and the vocie didn't sound like her twin sister Naomi, so he narrowed it down to her Mother

"Daniel Simmons. I'm here to pick up Nia" Diggy says all professional like threw the door of Nia's house as her Mother proceeds to open the front door to their beautiful home.

" Oh... Hello Daniel How are you doing on the fine evening? I'm Mrs. Parker, Nia's Mother" Nia's Mother says while extending her nice manicure soft hand

"I'm fine how you are Mrs. Parker" Diggy says, while shaking her hand and flashing that million dollar smile of his. He's surprises at what strong grip a lady such as herself has. He tries to look un-phase by it as Mrs. Parker invites him into her lovely home.

"I'm doing quite fine thanks for asking" Mrs. Parker says before walking over to the stairs that leads to Nia's room in the kitchen and raises her voice slightly up those stairs with Diggy following close behind her. "Nia, a lovely young Man here's to see you" Mrs. Parker quickly yells upstairs from her position downstairs before she starts to interrogate Diggy.
