As the birds chirped and the sun glistened, me and Giyuu reached the opening of the woods. The  heat reflected on my dark red haori , so i slipped it off and put it in my satchel.Giyuu didn't look impressed at this, but ignored it anyway a continued strolling.                                                                   "so...where were you?" Giyuu asked out of nowhere, taking me off guard. he showed no emotion in his face whatsoever. I was surprised he asked this question, he didn't seem like the type of person to care.                                                                                                                                                                         "i got badly injured, too bad i couldn't even walk." Giyuu raised his eyebrows a me and then looked straight forward again. After a couple of minutes of walking, he sighed and sat down on a fallen tree log and handed me a flask of water.  I drunk it and then we sat in silence, no noise except for the odd bird tweeting.                                                                                                                                        "Show me the injury" Giyuu demanded. Confused and a little scared, i lifted up my trousers. The almost fatal wound curled all the way around my legs and upper body.                                                          "Does it still hurt?" he asked, getting some ice cream mochi out of his satchel and biting into it. I shook my head and stood up. I didn't want to talk about it. He got up too, and we didn't speak about it for the rest of the journey.

After hours, we finally reached the clearing of the forest. I grabbed my sword out and looked around. Suddenly, i could smell a foul odour and the ground rumbled beneath me.                             "WATCH OUT!" I screamed to giyuu, who immediately jumped to the left of him and whipped his sword out. Out of nowhere, a demon leaped out from behind a tree and tried to pounce at me, its eyes looking sad but ready to kill. My sword thrashed upon its neck, and i felt its head rolling next to my feet. I could hear the same thing happen to giyuu but i know that these demons weren't particularly strong. He would be okay.

Two more demons came out but they were even weaker than the last one. I notice that all three of them had an engraved  line on their left hand, and the same look in their eye of sadness. Then all of a sudden, nothing. Silence, All i could hear was the wind howling and my heart thumping . After i knew nothing else would come, i rushed over to see if giyuu was alright. When i climbed over the tree that separated us, i could see him on the floor, wincing in pain. His arm was bleeding heavily and there was a mild cut on his forehead. I grabbed my haori and wrapped it around his arm.I put him next to a big log, so no demon could see him. I looked up to see a demon like no other staring back at me. She was fully red, and wore lipstick so dazzling it hurt my eyes to look at it. Her ball gown was maroon and her hair bleach blonde. Intricate patterns filled her face and body, but that distinct line on her left hand was as clear as day. As quick as lightning, i grabbed my sword and ran at her. The sadness filled her eyes as she held out her hand. A powerful force field swept me off my feet, and my head hit the ground. When i looked back up, she had gone, and all that was left was an engravement on the tree, reading.                       'i do not want to hurt you, please don't make me' in bright red lipstick.
