Best Friends Brother

Chapter 1: Realization

You, Fred, George, Ginny, and Ron are all in the Gryffindor common room, sitting by the fire.
Your seated kind of further away from everyone else, further over and back than everybody. Ginny is sitting next to you, just further forward and more to the side. George and Ron are seated right in front of the fire. Fred is seated on the complete opposite side of the fire from where you are, only a bit closer to Ron and George.
You bring your knees up to your chest and you rest your head while you listen to everybody talking.
Ron: "do any of you have feelings for anybody?"
George: "i dont, what about you Ron?"
Ron: "Hermione, don't tell her!"
Ginny: "i-i like harry."
Ron: "I CALLED IT!"
Fred: "what about you y/n, who do you like?"
your face goes red
y/n: "uh- um... i cant say."
Ron: "oh come onnn it cant be that bad can it?"
George: "i bet its FRED!"
he laughs
you throw a pillow at him
Ginny: "it's ok y/n tell us! we won't tell whoever it is."
Fred: "yeah y/n tell us!"
y/n: "make me!"
Fred gets up and starts tickling you.
y/n: "F-Fred stop it you GIT i can't BREATHE!"
he stops but pins your wrists to the ground while he hovers over you.
Fred: "i'll let you go when you tell."
he whispers smiling.
y/n: "fine, i'll tell YOU if everyone else leaves."
George: "guys lets go!"
George had wanted you and Fred to be together, he always picked at you for it. He was hoping this would be the time.
Ginny: "ok well we're gonna go!"
Ron; "byeeee guysssss!"
they all leave.
Fred still has you pinned to the ground.
Fred: "so who is it y/n?"
he smiles.
y/n: "it-it's... you..."
Fred: "wait really?"
y/n: "yes, i've liked you for a while i've been in denial though. and i know you don't like be back and that's ok but pl-"
you get cut off by Fred kissing you.
you kiss him back.
his lips are soft, they fit on yours almost perfectly. he slowly pulls away smiling.
Fred: "you don't even know how long i've been waiting to do that."
y/n: "and you don't even know how long i've been waiting FOR you to do that."
you smile.
he lets go of you and you sit up and hug him.
You guys go out to let everyone know they can come back in.
George: "are you guys together yet?!"
he lets out a smile of hope.
Ginny: "they probably are!"
Ron: "bloody hell let them talk!"
y/n: "not yet, things should probably be taken slow."
Fred: "yes, i agree 100%."
Ron: "i have an idea! hang on let me go get Harry and Hermione. We have to have an uneven number of people."
y/n: "what are we doing?"
Ron: "were playing spin the bottle in the common room."
y/n: "o-ok."
fred puts his arm around you.
you guys go into the common room and sit waiting for Ron to come back with Hermione and Harry.
