I have to go on record to say that I seriously object to the continuation of testing on SCP-5198. The amount of information we've retracted is enough to make a distinct file for it, so there's no more need. It seems to be becoming a bit more intolerant to the testing, we don't know what'll happen if we push it over the edge. Don't want to risk anything. Godspeed.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5198 is to be kept in a three (3) room furnished cell with all cool colored furniture and items, and a bathroom. The subject is allowed to freely wander the facility and eat in the main canteen. A tracking device has been attached to SCP-5198's person and is not to be removed. Subject is disallowed to leave its containment room without wearing a mask that covers its eyes.

Description: SCP-5198 appears to be a ██ year old girl of French or German descent, 158 cm (5'1") tall and 43 kg (94 lbs), with brown hair. Eyes of the subject appear to have whitened out pupils and golden iris's. The subject's skeletal system seemingly has been augmented and mutated to grow in a certain manner to provide the subject with wings. These wings give the subject an angel-like appearance. Foundation personnel have reportedly never seen SCP-5198 use these to fly, though it seems it has the full capability to do so. The subject doesn't take notice of these features unless it's blatantly pointed out to it, and states it has no knowledge how, why, or when these augmentations took place. There's an array of star shaped scars upon the subjects abdomen, which all have an unknown origin. When questioned about them, the subject becomes visibly distressed and refuses to speak about them. Subject needs to eat at least one meal a day, and is strictly vegetarian.
SCP-5198, who refers to itself as 'Mavis' or 'Mayday', is generally docile and timid towards those who speak to it, and is reportedly very expressive in it's speech. It tries to be very helpful, though usually ends up causing problems by accident. Subject has a habit of picking a certain member of personnel and following them around for a single day, much like a child would follow their parents in a grocery store. Despite the subject's childlike behavior, it has highly detailed knowledge on ancient French texts.
SCP-5198 can create rifts of light, which are blinding to the human eye. The rift functions the same as a black hole, sucking in all objects near it and ripping apart atom by atom. How the subject is able to create these rifts is unknown.
Anyone with a naked human eye who looks straight into SCP-5198 eyes often suffers from migraines, nausea, and temporary blindness. It has also been noted that when the subject feels emotions such as intense anger or sadness, it begins to radiate a similar light to that of the rift along with heat. The heat it radiates can reach up to 1553°C.

Additional Notes: SCP-5198 is reportedly close to other SCPs, and gets along very well with them. These SCPs include SCP-5729-1, SCP-5729-2, SCP-8146, SCP-3177, and many others. Personnel oftentimes find the subject trying to find ways to contact other SCPs. This has resulted in all SCPs SCP-5198 comes into contact with regularly to be provided with the following items:

• A personal computer with access to local area network SCP-ALT-1730,
• A microphone,
• A camera,
• Speakers.

Personnel regularly monitors the network and communications between each SCP.
Many members of personnel have also become close to SCP-5198. It seems to have an easy time speaking to everyone, though tends to be shy upon meeting someone/something new.

Addendum 5198-1: After Incident-██, supervisors of SCP-5198 noted that it was expressing an extreme amount of grief. Often stating that it was sorry, or didn't mean to harm anyone. It often refused to leave their room and eat after that. Only after speaking to personnel, SCP-5198 continued its regular schedule. Subject acted as if nothing had ever happened in the first place.
After Incident-1A occured, SCP-5198 took on a more nonchalant and rebellious persona. It began to treat all personnel as friends, and acted as if they weren't in containment to begin with.
