I've not been feeling great recently, but I'm going to work again anyways. What's the point of staying home with just a cold and a stomach ache?
I arrived at the district. With my head throbbing I strolled up the stairs leading to the bullpen and I slumped myself down in my desk. And within seconds Hank comes barging out of his office with a case
"Two DOA's at med and one survivor, all three overdosed. Kim, hailey, I want you to go over and talk to any family and the Survivor to see if we can find our supplier."
"You got it sarge" Hailey said while grabbing her jacket.
Surprisingly, when we arrived Adam was talking to the survivor, Jackson Miller. So me and Hailey spoke to the parents.
"Turns out neither of the parents knew anything about them doing drugs" Kim said to Adam.
"Well Jackson said that the dealer is "Andrew Markson."
We walked out of the doors at med and the rest of the unit pulled up, but a wave of heat rushed over me,
"I think I'm going to be Si-"
Before I could finish I began throwing up.
Adam rubbed my back and Hailey ran to get a nurse.
The nurse checked me over and said I probably have a stomach bug. But I should be better in a few days.
Voight told Adam as several others to take it in turns to take a few days off to take care of me at home. And so they did.
We chilled on the couch and watched a bunch of Netflix shows and movies, before moving on to Disney+
"Beauty and the beast!" I begged
"Alright, alright" hailey chuckled.
