LUKE
This morning is pretty much boring, yesterday we went to the city and I think it is the best day ever so far. I got a new guitar, the one I bought yesterday, it feels so good to get a new one and it is like I bought my new life.
"Luke! your breakfast is ready." My mom yelled from downstairs. I stood up from my bed and walked downstairs.
"Morning." My mom said before walking towards me to give me a kiss on top of my head. Ugh mom, I am eighteen almost nineteen! I sat on the dining table to eat breakfast which Egg and some toast.
After I eat breakfast, I went upstairs to go back in my room. I looked over to my new guitar, I smiled at myself, it's been 3 years since I played but I missed playing this instrument and it is basically the piece of me. I walked over and I bent down to grab it. I sat on my bed and positioning it to me. I strummed a chords to play a song.
"Backseat serenade dizzy hurricane, Oh god I'm sick of sleeping alone. Salty like a summer day, kiss the pain away to your radio." I sing while strumming on my guitar. I sang some songs and I don't know what to do so I stopped.
What about I write a song? I love writing a song so much, it feels like I'm throwing things I want to say when I am writing songs, I really need it right now, things I want to pull out of my chest. I opened the small table beside my bed and grabbed my notebook. I didn't realize this notebook is still there for 3 years, I laughed and I randomly strum with a chords so I can easily find one. This needs to spill out of my chest.
"Ever since the day that we met,
I couldn't get you out of my head,
There was always something a about you." I sang. I was surprised to the way it sounds, I guess I did a pretty good first verse. I wrote it down on my notebook."Jealousy keeps contain on me,
In time you'll see,
That's what we could be." I sang and wrote it down again. After an hour, I sighed after I sang the whole song, how did I wrote a song so fast? well that's me when my heart needs to speak but my mouth couldn't- there's a knock on my door.
"Luke!" My mom called, I sat up. "Ashton and Calum are here."
I walked over and I opened the door. Calum and Ashton are standing in front of me, they walked inside my room.
"What's up?" Calum asked me and both of them are sitting in my bed, I closed the door behind me.
"What is this?" Ashton asked his eyebrows furrowed when he noticed the open notebook on top of my guitar which is laying on my bed. He picked it up before he reads it. shit.
"You wrote a song?" Ashton asked me his voice sounds excited and happy, I nodded. Calum widened his eyes and he moved closer to Ashton to read the song I wrote.
"Too late?" Calum raised his eyebrow as he reads the title of the song. Yes it is the title. Their eyes scanned through my notebook, probably reading the lyrics.
"Woah, this is all about, who?" Calum laughs, I looked down, I don't want to talk about it.
"Are you liking some girl?" Ashton asked me wiggling his eyebrows, I rolled my eyes.
"I'll take that as a yes! Luke likes a girl." Ashton yelled. Calum gave me a smirked, he probably guessed, I sent him a death glare.
"Who is this girl?" Ashton asked grinning at me. Calum and I widened eyes, I nearly choke.
"Can you play it for us please?" Calum begged to change the topic. I sighed before taking my guitar and positioning it in front of me to play.
I sang the whole song, they clapped their hands together.
"That sounds so good!" Calum said smiling at me, I know that smile he gave me means more than that, it is like he is teasing me cause he guessed or something.
"I'm so proud of you." Ashton says before giving me a quick hug, they don't actually expect me to write a song. I stopped writing since then but now it is like they are so proud of me that I made myself back to my hubby of writing songs. I don't know what came to me but I feel inspired.
Thank her.
