…There was a dead campfire in the middle of the forest. Around the dead campfire were 4 sleeping heroes that were fatigued from exploring this dark forest. They had been taking a stroll and decided to sleep out here because it was just better to sleep outside the village. Most of them were just sleeping on the floor with no sleeping bags or anything. Just them and the dirty grass.
Freddy was sleeping with his back against a tree, fatigued from overworking himself. Although, something in his mind was always active. He could never get any REAL rest. Toy Chica was the only one sensible enough to bring a sleeping bag with her, and she slept comfortably inside of it, ignoring all the worries of the world. Nightmare Bonnie had his eyes closed, but he was only pretending. He liked keeping an eye out for the team, especially for Funtime Foxy. Everyone else was sleeping soundly, but Funtime Foxy, who was sleeping on a conveniently flat rock that was big enough for him, kept shuffling around as if he was having a rough time sleeping.
They were inside an iconic open space in the middle of a forest, having a circle space all to themselves. Some of the leaves would fall to the ground and then disappear, which made Nightmare Bonnie wonder about it. Although, it was pretty obvious this life was just a game, and N. Bonnie knew it. He wondered if anyone else knew too.
Nightmare Bonnie opened his eyes, finally tempted to go over to Funtime Foxy to see what’s wrong. He got off the ground and made his way towards Funtime Foxy. He tapped on his shoulder, making Funtime Foxy jump a little, startling Nightmare Bonnie a little. After waiting a bit, Funtime Foxy groaned softly before turning to look at Nightmare Bonnie in the face.
“What do ya want?” He asked, whispering as softly as he could. His eyes were barely open, probably because he hadn’t opened them in a long time.
“You seem restless.” Nightmare Bonnie said.
“I know… it’s jus’…” Funtime Foxy sighed, not finishing his sentence.
They both looked at each other for a moment, which was long enough for them to feel the warm air around them. They were sleeping in broad daylight btw, which also might contribute to the fact that Funtime Foxy cannot sleep.
“You can tell me.” Nightmare Bonnie consoled.
“I be jus’ tired.” Funtime Foxy said, sighing again. Nightmare Bonnie opened his mouth to speak, but Funtime Foxy wasn’t done yet. “This mark is starting to hurt again.”
Funtime Foxy pointed to the mark on his neck, which was a dark brown picture of Freddy, with red eyes and sharp teeth. Nightmare Bonnie felt miserable, knowing that that was his doing.
“It’s my fault, I shouldn’t be eating so much-” Nightmare Bonnie was interrupted.
“I don’t think it’s ye.” Funtime Foxy said. “It’s as if someone else.”
“You mean N. Freddy is eating off you too?” Nightmare Bonnie asked. He didn’t like the thought of him doing that, but what can he say? He is eating off his mark anyway.
“No, like someone is fighting with me for the mark.” Funtime Foxy explained.
“Oh, so maybe he marked another person?” Nightmare Bonnie suggested.
“Probably. What else is there to explain this?” Funtime Foxy agreed.
“It’ll probably go away by tomorrow.” Nightmare Bonnie said, trying to give him some hope.
“I don’t know about that.” Funtime Foxy said.
It was silent for a moment.
“How is your hand?” Nightmare Bonnie asked.
