Ally's POV
"Austin! Where the heck are you taking me?" I asked, as Austin lead me to God knows where, blindfolded I might add.
"Don't worry babe. Everything is going to be fine. You said you wanted to go on a date since we haven't gone on one for a while so, I planned one out. It's a surprise." He said. I could sense him smiling.
"Ughhhhhh!" I complained. "You know I hate surprises!" I really did.
"I know. That's why I did it. It's a special surprise though. I know you will really like this one." He said.
"I hope so. Because if I don't, you'll never ever see-"
"Okay!" Austin said, cutting me off. "I do NOT want to hear the rest of that death plan you have ready for me. Please stop. And please stop complaining too! We're almost there." He said, quickly.
"Good, because I really want to take this blindfold off. It's itchy." I said.
"I know. Hey look, we're here." He said, happily.
"Oh thank god! Take this blindfold off me!" I said, commanding.
"Wait! Take it off when I saw so. Okay. Ready? One, two, and... three!" He screams. I take it off. I gasp.
"Tada!" Austin says, spreading his arms to the surprise. It was a picnic. But not just any picnic.
There was a checkered red and white blanket spread out on the grass. Our food was on it. Salad, pasta, and some chicken Alfredo with some bread rolls were all spread across the blanket. There were 2 drinks and a small clear vase with one rose in it. And, it was in the nicest place in the park.
It was all so beautiful. Simple, but yet really romantic. I loved it.
"Austin, this is so... wow." I said, still breathe taken.
He chuckled. "Well, I thought you'd say that. Do you like it?"
"Austin, I love it. It's amazing."
"I'm glad. Hey, I have something else too. Check it out." He walked towards the picnic basket and took out a jar... of pickles. No way!
"No way. Are those-"
"Yup! Pickles! Your absolute favorite. I even have a few pancakes inside there for me too." He replied, smiling.
"This is so awesome! Thanks a bunch Austin." I said.
"You are very welcome babe. Anything for you. So, what do you say? Let's dig in?" He asked me. Did he really need an answer for that?
"Uh, of course!" I replied, happily. I gave him a quick hug and a peck on the cheek and walked towards the blanket. Lunch time was calling my name.

"Austin, the food was amazing!" I told him, happily."Thanks babe. I'm glad you liked it. I'm going to give cooking a try more often." He said.
"More than just a try Austin. You are like a chef. A professional one. Your food is so good! You should come to my house every evening to cook dinner." I said.
He chuckled. "Well, we'll see about that."
"Consider it. Man, it's such a beautiful day. Isn't it sweetie?" I asked him.
"Hell yeah it is. Especially with you at my side. Makes today a million times better." He said.
I blushed. "Thanks. Same goes to you. You want to cloud watch for a while?" I asked him.
"Sure. It will be relaxing. Plus, I want to try to out smart your cloud watching skills. You always have a tendency to show off when it comes to this." He said.
