Yeah, I'm done with the Dates.

Okay. Calm Down Adrien. You've got a job interview..No big deal. Just a thing that will affect your money source and possibly the only thing you can depend on...Oh God, I'm freaking out! What if I say something bad? Are my clothes appropriate? Do I smell bad? What if they don't like me?

"Are you okay?" Dalton asked looking at me concerned. I jumped. I got too caught up in what I was thinking so I forgot he was here.

"Yes. I'm totally fine." I told him. I'm bringing Dalton for one reason. He's my lucky charm. Also, I heard the boss is a girl and most girls fall for Dalton's looks. I'm his Best friend! I'm allowed to use my advantages. Anyway. I got Dalton's Mom to drive to the cafe. I'm gonna work as a waiter. I just hope I can talk normally to the customers. Maybe I can put on a facade.

"And We are Here! Adrien. Dalton and I will wait here." Chanda spoke. Wait what?! How am I supposed to cheat the system when my helper isn't here?! I got out of the car nervously and walked inside. The place is busy. Customers everywhere. Okay, I got this. I went up to the counter and asked the lady about an interview with her boss. She smiled and guided me to the back. Turns out she is the boss.

"Hello Adrien Cori, Yes?" She spoke. "My name is Tammy Ayers and I presume that you think your ready for this job?"

"Y-Yes..!" I responded. I sat there in confidence. I need this job or else I'll be a bother for Dalton and his family. I don't want to do that. I owe them my life. Ah. I zoned out a little. Tammy looked at me and chuckled.

"Well, You're seventeen years old, able to work in the afternoons and no arrests. Everything is golden, but I'll have to ask some questions." She told me. I nodded my head. "Alright, Why should I hire you?"

"I think I could do a great job and learn experience in the cafe. I work fast, and I don't like to bother people." I answer. Was that a-okay answer? She smiled.

"Three more questions to go, Tell me about yourself." She told me, putting her pen down and looking at me straight in the eye. Where should I start? I shouldn't get too personal.

"My name is Adrien Matias Cori. I'm in my 12th grade of Highschool. I make sure my school won't affect my outside activities. I live with my mom, but my main transport to my job is my Bestfriend Dalton. I think I'm capable of waiting on customers and I know how to handle an angry one at that. My grades are sufficient." I started. She listened and I think she noticed I didn't go personal with my time at home, but I think it's normal.

"I see. It's great to know that school won't affect your work." She spoke. She picked up her notepad and wrote some things down. "Two more to go, So tell me why do you want this job?" She asked.

"I want to start saving up for a time when I need money," I answered. I wonder if that was too vague of an answer.

"And Lastly, Do you get sick often?" She asked.

"No..! There may be a time I come here bandaged but that's because I get hurt easily. I don't get sick very often." I told her. Yeah...I just get hurt easily. She smiled once again and told me to come back and three days and they will have an answer for me. I left the back room and I met with Dalton and his Mom. I just melted into the nearest seat since I knew Chanda would want to stay awhile.

"You Alright?" Dalton had sat down with me. I shook my head yes. Honestly, I'm just a bit tired. Anyone would be after an interview. I still can't let my guard down since I'm still here. I bounced up and looked Dalton straight in the face which must have surprised him. He just looked at me for a few seconds and began to laugh which had me confused. "Haha..! You look so tense!" Dalton continued to laugh at me which started to make me feel annoyed. Though it didn't take long for me to relax and start laughing with him. It wasn't long until Chanda got her iced Tea and we had to go back to the house. I'm pretty tired. I was going to fall asleep but..."Mom! Stop by that fast food place right there!" Dalton pointed.

"Why? You payin?" Chanda asked. Dalton then stayed quiet for a few seconds. He is totally broke. "You should get a Job as Adrien does. Hell, You could work at the same place." She mentions. That must have lit a bulb in Dalton's brain.

"Adrien! We should totally work there together! I can help bring in customers with my beauty" Dalton bragged. I laughed. It not like I mind Dalton taking the job with me, but that would be very embarrassing. Also..I wouldn't be able to focus. There also may be a hint of..jealousy. As Chanda was driving, both Dalton and I are in back just chatting. I can feel myself drifting away, car rides always make me sleepy. Dalton must have noticed this, because told me that I could lean on him if I wanted. I took the opportunity.
