You hang the bandages and the clothes you had so diligently washed, the weather was perfect, not too hot and not too windy.
The skies were awfully bright and blue, the clouds being scattered like salt.

You sigh and pat your lap of dust and head inside the hideout once again. Haku was preparing for lunch, chopping leafy greens as the water from the pot boil.

"I'm done with washing! Is there anything else I can help you with?" You ask him with a smile, his beautiful visage turning to face you, halting in his task and setting the knife down.
Your face turn red as you take in his features, he was definitely beautiful; you regret to say he's even more beautiful than most girls.

       And he's a guy.

He giggles, did you say that out loud? "Kindly buy some more spices and fish from the market, Zabuza wanted something other than rabbit meat for today."
He hands you a basket and a bag of coins; you don't question where that money came from.

And without further discussions, you headed out for the market much like he had asked.

The stalls were awfully depleted, your hold strengthens on the basket; Gato really did a number on them.

"Watch it!" A girlish screech snap you out of your thoughts, your bum hitting the ground.
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry!" The voice frantically pick up your belongings, and you look up as the voice grew familiar to you.

       It was Sakura Haruno.

And she was even more beautiful than you expected for her to be, it kind of felt wrong, as you were a solid two or three years older than she is.

You shake your head as she helps you on your feet. "There's no need, I didn't watch where I was going." You utter, unable to look at Sakura in the eye.
Wearing Haku's clothes might have done a personality change in you.

"Are you sure?" She asks you, her big green eyes wide with genuine concern.
"Yeah... I've never seen you around here before." You make up an immediate excuse to avoid suspicion, because you almost utter her name.

"Oh, I'm on a mission." She vaguely tells you, you notice her forehead protector; it was much intimidating to look at in real life.

"I see, may I have your name?" You smile, offering a friendly aura.

"Sakura, Haruno Sakura." She answers you, a little doubt present in her features.
         "Nice to meet you, Sakura-san."

You tell her your name, and you both chat to each other while you were buying the things Haku had requested.
Someone had been watching you though, and the stare burned even further when you bought a small bottle containing a strange substance from a travelling merchant.

You brush the feeling off and then bid farewell to the pink haired kunoichi and went on your way back to the hideout, making sure no one followed.

"I'm back!" You happily announce and set the basket full of goods down.
         You blink. "Strange."
The preparations have been left unattended, and no one was present in the house.

You walk inside and looked around, ignoring he feeling of crawling dread up to your gut.
"Haku? Zabuza?" You call out worriedly, you whip your head around upon sensing a presence behind you, only to find nothing.

Just when you calmed down, your senses was slowly, oh so slowly stripping away from reality.

Your eyes open wide and your mouth gape from shock, confused you glance at what you were holding.
It was a damp bed sheet, the one you hung up a few hours ago.
Your brows furrow as a pain from the back of your nape erupted, your disorientation fueling even further as you look at the sky.
