Those warm eyes

The large crowds, the beautiful lightings, the warm air and the loud chattering. I take in the atmosphere as I walk into the concert venue , shoving in between people together with Arista to get as close to the stage as possible. " Wow.. this is really a dream come true. " Arista's face light up with immense glee. I continue to look around me, amazed at how dedicated these fans are. Carrying lightsticks , wearing concert merchandise tees and even wearing headbands with their bias' name on it that lights up.

The lighting suddenly changed and everyone started cheering. It is starting.

A video clip plays on the large screens.

The lighting turned really dim. Fan cheers intensifies.

" Scoups. "

" Jeonghan. "

" Joshua. "

The spotlight shines on each member as their names get called.

" Vernon. " I actually anticipate to see him. The light hits his fair skin and it looks like he's sparkling. My face slowly turns red upon seeing him.

" AAHHHH THEY LOOK SOO GOOD!! " Arista screams.

They started the concert with ' Fear ' . I was really taken aback by how impactful the performance is and couldn't keep my eyes off Vernon the whole time.

After a few more tracks performed, my favourite song from all of the ones Arista has made me listen to , Pretty U was being sung.

My eyes meet with the warmest pair of brown eyes I've ever seen. So warm that it makes me feel like I'm basking under the sun in a sunflower field for a second. I fluster. These...These are Vernon's eyes. I stood rooted to the ground out of shock and gives him an awkward smile. He chuckles lightly to himself and waves as he continues to dance.

Arista noticed and tugged my arms so hard that I finally broke off from the shock trance. " VERNON WAVED AT YOU! " I didn't say anything as I am still processing what just happened but continue to fixate my eyes on Vernon.

" Does she love me? Does she love me not? " Vernon whilst singing that verse, looks into my eyes again and points at me.

Some heads turns to look at me in envy.

The performances has come to an end. All 13 members are now just sitting down to have a conversation with everyone present.

" Thank you all so much for being here tonight! It means a lot to us. " Joshua said.

" We are so happy to be back and have been preparing hard so that we can give all of you the best show tonight. " Scoups continued on in Korean. " I even made the members stay a little longer to tweak the Pretty U choreography for this concert HAHAHA. " Hoshi says as everyone laughs along.

After awhile, the concert has officially ended. Everyone slowly leaves the venue.

" Miss. " a hand touched my right shoulder. I turn around to see a security person there. " Oh no. " I panic as I was trying to rationalise why was I being called by security. " Can you please come with me? " the security says. Arista and I exchange confused look and she signalled that she'll be waiting outside for me.

" Sir.. did I do something wrong? " I asks the security man but he simply ignores me which made me worry much more.

" Please wait here Miss. " he says and walked into another room , leaving me to stand in an empty arena confused and worried for my life.

I pace around in circles to calm myself down. " Hey! " a smooth deep voice called out to me.

I look up swiftly. I couldn't believe my own pair of eyes. I let out a soft gasp.

" Hey , relax... you're not in trouble HAHA " the voice comforts me.

" I... I am calm... you're... Vernon. " I struggled to form a proper sentence.

" Hi Calm! Yes I am Vernon. " His smile reveals a set of straight pearly white teeth.

I chuckled at his joke. " You sure know how to calm someone down. My name's actually Y/N "

" Ahh.. your name is so pretty , it really suits you. " He raises his brows and snickers at himself for saying such a corny line.

" WAIT! Why are you here? Why am I here? Oh no did I somehow made you upset or something during the the whole show? " I had an epiphany.

" No silly.. I actually just thought that you're really adorable and I want to get to know you more. If that's alright with you " He shyly says as his fiddled with his rings.

" No way! "

" Ahh that's okay.. thank you for attending tonight though. I hope to see you on the next one. " He sighs in disappointment.

" NONO that's not what I meant. I meant it in a surprised way like Oh My God is this actually happening to a nerdy boring person like me? " I quickly intercepted.

" Oh HAHAHA so is that a agreement to get to know me too? "

I nod , containing my excitement.

" Could I have your number then? " He takes his phone out of his pocket and ready to type.

" 856 000 1111 "

" Great! Thank you so much. Get home safely would ya " He taps my shoulder gently.

" Thank you HAHA. Bye! " I waved as I ran out of the arena.

" Y/N! ARE YOU OKAY? WHAT HAPPENED BACK THERE? " Arista ran towards me.

" I.. I met Vernon. "

" Y/N OH M GEE WHAT! TELL ME ABOUT IT "

" Alright but first let's walk and I'll tell you all about it while we wait for my mum to pick us up at the parking lot. "
