Fallon was now asleep on her sofa, after a nice fresh cup of hot chocolate with her dad and cookies. She ate the cookies, not her dad, of course. Evan decided to leave her snoring on the couch, not to wake her. He went to his own room and spread the bed and slept.

Fallon's dreams were not as cozy as her house.

She dreamed of a small cutesy Rex, which was a good part, but she looked scared out of her mind. Fallon decided the Rex was a she. She had seen her in her dreams before, but not as scared as this time. She was in a narrow alley, somewhere along the west of Fallon's house street, but she wasn't sure where. The Rex was out of place, but she kept her eyes fixed on something approaching her.

Fallon felt something tinging inside her, like she was the one in her place, and she was immediately overcome with fear. She inched forward to see what was making the growling noise, and when the figure came into focus...

Fallon heard a loud DING-DONG! just before the figure leaped forth, and she woke up with a start. She was happy for the loud noise that woke her up. She was sweating furiously. After a few minutes, she heard another DING-DONG-DING-DONG! and realized that must be the doorbell. She looked at the clock and saw it was 10 in the morning now, so her dad had probably left for work... Had she slept that long?

She got up and opened the door, still sleepy-eyed. In front of the door was standing her old friend, Charles. He was in his long t-shirt with a cat on it (He's obsessed with cats) and pajama trousers, and a guitar slung on his back. He had a long neck, squinty blue eyes, and a dark normal hair. He looked shocked, since he had just seen Fallon in her wake-up mood.

"Who-?" Fallon began to say then yelped. "Charles!"

Charles waved. "Hi, Blobby. Did you just wake up?"

"Yes." Fallon replied wearily, and then fell down on the ground and started snoring.

Charles heaved a sigh and poked her with his guitar. "Fallon! Wake up! I got something to show you. You might like this. It's-" He leaned closer and whisper. "I think it's a T-Rex."

Fallon's eyes shot open, and she picked herself up. "WHAT?" She didn't mean to shout. Charles flinched. "Woah, there, calm down. Let's sit and talk?" Charles said.

Fallon nodded and they went over to the couch and sat down, Fallon back in her blankets and Charles sitting on the side cushion chair. He was decent like that. Plus, Fallon was pretty sure his "oh she's not his girlfriend, just a friend" would kill him if he sat on the couch next to her. Fallon started imagining the ways that would go about, and chuckled. Charles raised an eyebrow, but then didn't bother to question.

Then Fallon came back to reality and remembered something about a T-Rex. "What's up?" Fallon asked.

Charles looked uncertain, but began explaining.
