Enola picked up the book and let the cover run through her fingers. She found the book to be gorgeous. She opened the book and found a blank page. Confused she turned a couple pages but all of them were blank. She started to look through old books, but she couldn't find a thing about shifting.
-"Julia, what's a book with no words?"
-"Let me think,"Julia thought about it for a second and said, "a notebook maybe?"
-"Genius! You know, the book, that Mother left after her appearance, well all the pages to it are blank. I could probably use it as a notebook. Write things in it, like a diary!"
-"Of course Enola. Now, I'll hurry and make us dinner, don't do anything stupid whilst I'm gone." Julia always worried about Enola. She loved her really, but it didn't always turn out that way. For exemple when Enola was five years old, her father had just left, and Julia kept on telling Enola that "princesses don't cry". Enola just grew up to be a cold child, and she doesn't show her emotions. People will say it was Julia's fault but, Enola played a big part in it as well. She used to get bullied for crying when she got hurt, she just got stronger. Bullied to not have a father, stopped crying about it.
-"Of course Julia. I'm just going to try to start writing in this notebook/book thing. I don't even know anymore." Enola broke into laughter as she ran back up the stairs. She openned her notebook and started writing, she watched as the writing was slowly disappearing, revealing other writing. It showed back to her "Hello Enola. You may be confused. Ask me any question and I will answer it truthfully. You don't know it yet but this book will help you through lots, as it helped your mother." Enola laughed at the notebook and looked back at it. She realized, the notebook was serious. She took her pen and started asking questions. Here's how it went:
Where is Mother?
Somewhere you will go soon if you listen.
How did you help Mother?
I helped her shift to Hogwarts.
What's shifting?
A space between a dream and reality. You have power over your dream and it makes you feel like you're really in the place you're imagining.
Why did Mother need to shift?
She needed to go Home.
Where did she shift to?
Hogwarts.
What's Hogwarts?
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry of course. Haven't you been reading the Harry Potter books?
Right.
Enola ran downstairs and showed the book to Julia. However, Julia could not see a thing from the conversation. Only Enola's questions messily written all over the page. Julia looked at Enola and said "Is your head okay? Have you been drinking something? Are you cold?"
-"No Julia, I'm fine. I just have too many questions about Mother. As it turns out from my research, she shifted to some place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Apparently it's her Home. Not sure how but I'll find out."
Julia knew what Enola was talking about. Helena had herself asked Julia not to tell her about Hogwarts. Of course, Julia was a great actress knowing that she had to keep things away from people ever since her birth.
-"Oh darling, don't dig too deep, you could find some very unpleasant things. Don't ask that book too many questions, I'm afraid this person communicating with you is really just a death eater." Rigth after saying that, Julia's eyes widened.
-"What's a death eater? You know something I don't know."
Julia's silence immediatly convinced her.
-"Fine, if you don't want to talk I'll find a way to find out. And as it turns out, this book could help me do just that."
Enola went up the stairs, and tripped. Her left side was hurting her very badly. She screamed out in pain.
