The next morning Ava awoke to her father's yelling "AVAEAH GET UP AND MAKE ME BREAKFAST" he yelled, his voice echoing off the walls; she groaned but got up, she trudged around her room randomly picking clothes for the day, not paying attention to the colors. Reluctantly, she walked downstairs "there you are Avaeah, hurry up and make me my coffee" he hollered "yes father" she responded timidly, she brewed his coffee quickly and served it to him. He stood up menacingly but before he could hit her, Henry blocked him "Dad your going to be late for work" he said calmly, this is one of the rare moments were he protects Avaeah and she appreciates every second of it. Her dad rolled his eyes and stormed off, Henry turned to look at his sister, she had tears glistening in her eyes; he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her comfortingly "I'm sorry Ava" he said softly, she wrapped her arms around him tightly, so the Bowers siblings stood in the kitchen wrapped up in a tight hug. "Ava I'll try to be nicer, I promise" he whispered, she nodded her head and stepped back, weakly smiling at her older brother "love you little sis" he said softly "love you too big bro" she said weakly, still sniffling. They both went there separate ways, happy that they mended there relationship. Ava hurriedly took her bike out of the garage and took off down the road, towards Eddie's house the tears still glistening in her eyes. When she got to Eddie's house she hurriedly knocked on the door and waited for a few minutes, Stan answered. "Hey sorry I'm late" she said hurriedly wiping the tears "hey- Ava what happened?" He said, in concern "nothing" she said bit the voice crack gave her away, his eyes softened "come here" he said softly, pulling her into a hug. So Stan and Ava sat on Eddie's Porch, with Ava sobbing into Stans shoulder. When she finally pulled away "I'm sorry Stan I shouldn't of done that" she said guiltily looking down at his now tear stained shirt "Ava your my best friend, you can always come to me, even it means getting tears and boogies all over my shirt. But don't tell Eddie" he said jokingly, she laughed softly "don't tell Eddie what?" Eds said, showing up behind them "nothing" Ava said, not wanting anymore sympathy, Bill came out, than Richie "what happened?" Richie said awkwardly "I don't know ask those two" eddie said pointing at Stan and Ava, Richie felt something he never felt before, jealousy. But he didn't know why "s-stan w-why is your s-shirt w-wet?" Bill pointed out, Stan looked at Ava "nothing" he muttered. "Okay I don't know what happened between you two but let's go" Eddie said awkwardly.
