[Hi guys! I finally updated again. I haven't really been on my laptop these days. I am just a little conflicted at the moment with my little story hehehehe. I hope you like the next update! ^_^]

Tappy spoke louder than she expected. The room echoed those three words; she flushed from head to toe.

Edwardo took a step back as if the news physically pushed him back. He stared at her with wide eyes. Tappy balled the bottom of her shirt into her fists and looked at the carpet.

“U-um w-would you…” Tappy stuttered. She glanced at Edwardo and found him looking away from her, his raven black hair covering his face. His fist was clenched and his whole body was tense. She felt this huge weight crash on top of her. I seem to have troubled him…

Not knowing what to say, Edwardo looked away. He was stunned and happy about her confession but truthfully, he has never thought of Tappy in that way. She has been a great friend but… He risked a peak at her out of the corner of his eye.

Tappy continued to stare at him nervously. When she saw him peak at her, she quickly glanced away.

The clock on the wall ticked annoyingly. With each passing second, she grew more anxious. What am I doing? I need to finish what I started. Come on. Speak!

Tappy took a deep breath and looked at him once more. She found him staring at her with that intense look. Again. What is he thinking?

Unable to help herself, she fell into his trance without meaning to. It seemed that he was the only one who could do that to her, leaving her immobile. That’s the second time today…

Edwardo tilted his head as if to study her, his gaze travelling all over her face. She felt like bucket loads of sweat were pouring down her face. When his gaze met hers again, they softened. A flicker of an unknown emotion passed through those dazzling eyes but she couldn’t figure out what it was. The tension is too much.

Finally, Tappy, who could no longer stand the awkward silence, ran out quickly and left Edwardo behind. A figure was crouched outside but she could care less as she choked down a sob.

Outside the classroom, the other students hanged around the courts and adventure playground, laughing cheerfully. It was such a beautiful day, why did this happen?

Tappy fast-walked her way towards the girl’s bathroom sinks and splashed her face with cold water repeatedly. When her face returned to normal skin colour, she slid down against the cream-coloured wall and pulled her knees close. She leaned back and stared at the random dots on the white ceiling. What have I done? I ruined everything…

A silent tear crawled its way down her damp cheeks. Tappy buried her face against her knees and sobbed. She felt her phone vibrating in her pocket but she ignored it. Surprisingly, not one person has entered the bathroom – not that she needed an audience at the moment.

Once her tears dried up, she looked back up at the ceiling, staring blankly at one particular dot. God knew how long she sat there.

Suddenly, Tappy heard a clatter of fast-paced footsteps down the hall. She tensed. She quickly wiped her wet cheeks and stood. After straightening herself out in the mirror, she walked quietly towards the bathroom door.

[Tell me what you think? Don't be too harsh on me please >_< I am new at this after all. I do love writing this story though ^_^]
