I wake up and smile. I go have a shower and then put on my uniform. I brush my hair and leave it down. I might let my hair down, I thought. I sigh and go out. Hermione is already dressed. I smile at her and she smiles back at me. We go down to the common room and sit down to wait for the boys. 

I play with my fingers. "Nova, come with us, we need to talk" said Fred. "OK, I'll see you down there" I said, smiling. We go downstairs and Fred smirks. "So, wanna be pranksters with us?" asked Fred. "Yes I'd like that." I said, smiling. I do love a prank, I thought.  We sit down and Fred looks at Umbridge. I sigh and play with my fingers. "She is a massive bitch" said Fred. "Who? Umbridge?" I ask. He nods and I sigh. "She looks like one" I said, smirking. Hermione, Ron and Harry walk in and sit across from us. I smile at them. "So, what were you talking about?" asker Hermione. "Nova has joined our prank crew" said Fred. "Oh, why?" asked Hermione. "Seems fun" I said, smiling. She nods. Once we finish we head to Defense against Dark arts. I sit down and play with my fingers. Umbridge walks in and I glance at her. She is a massive bitch, well she looks it. 

"You don't need your wands, put it away" said Umbridge. I slide mine in my bag and sigh. She begins to speak. "Cedric Diggorys death was a tragic accident" said Umbridge. "He was murdered by Voldemort." said Harry. "Do you dare talk back to me" said Umbridge. "Um... isn't that how a conversation goes" said Harry. "Don't be sassy back to me" Umbridge. I play with my fingers and look down. I sigh and eventually it's over. I head to more classes and sigh. Fred is walking over to me and smiles. "What did you have?" asked Fred. "Defense Against the Dark Arts" I said. "Oh, that one" said Fred. I nod and he frowns. "I hate her too" I said. Fred laughs and brushes hair off my shoulder. I look at him. "So what class do you have now?" asked Fred. "History of Magic" I said. Fred nods and he walks me to the class. I walk inside and sit down. I lean forward and sigh. I just hope this year is normal, I thought. 

Once it's lunch time, I go to the Great Hall. I spot Fred and walk over to him. "Hey Fred" I said. "Hey Nova" said Fred. "All right there, Brielle?" asked Seamus. "I'm good, you?" I ask. "Wanna go on a date?" asked Seamus. "Um.... I just want to focus on school for now" I said. "OK, no problem" said Seamus. I smile and he goes to Dean. "Is that the only reason why you didn't want to go on a date with him?" asked Fred. "It's my first time here and I just want to get used to this for now" I said. "Makes sense" said Fred. I smile and look down. I take some food and place it on my plate. 

Harry, Ron and Hermione walk inside. They sit down and smile. "So, I heard Seamus asked you on a date" said Harry. "Yeah, I said no. It's too soon and I want to focus on school" I said. Harry smiles and grabs pumpkin juice. I smile and when I finish, Fred pokes me. "Wanna go to the lake?" asked Fred. "Sure" I said. We walk downstairs. We head to the lake and sit on the grass. "So, do you like Hogwarts?" asked Fred. "I love it apart from Umbridge's class" I said. "Understandable." said Fred. My owl, Winter flies down to me. She drops a letter. I take out a bag of treats, I keep them in my cloak. She flies off.

How are you? I hope school's going great. I heard there is a new DADA teacher and she's from the ministry, stay out of her line of sight, Sirius is going to tell Harry, Ron and Hermione but I wanted to tell you, Elle. Just so you know, Harry will protect you from her and any other people that don't like you cause of me.

"Just dad...." I said, trailing off. "You called him dad" said Fred, smiling. "I did" I said, smiling. Once we go inside, we head to class. I sigh and once we finish, I go to the library.

Dad,

I hope it's OK for me to call you dad but I want too. I don't like Umbridge either and I honestly am staying out of her way. I'm currently in the library, doing some work for classes. I love it here as you can tell. Harry is doing great! His like my brother already. I should probably do more work. Write soon!

I tie it up and do work before I go to the owlery. I give Winter the letter and she leaves. I go to the common room and go sit on a sofa. Harry walks over and sits down. "Hey, you were at the library, I assume" said Harry. "I was doing homework and wrote dad a letter" I said. "Calling him dad, good. You both deserve happiness" said Harry. I nod and hug him. "Thanks for being like a brother to me" I said. "Hey, always" said Harry. I smile and I read a book. Once it gets to 10, I decide it's time for bed. I change into pyjama's and slide under the covers. I rest my head on my pillow. My eyes instantly close.

Today was a good day, I enjoyed today, just not Umbridge.
