The PPG walked down the dark streets of Townsville, the happy town which they once protected, was crawling with criminals hidden in the dim alleys. They waited, like a predator approaching it's prey, and pounced at the moment they found someone to rob or...... do things no one would ever want to mention. Buttercup stood in the middle of the 3 girls, cowering unlike she did 5 years ago. Now Blossom stood confidently next to BC, ready to take on anyone who creeped near them. Bubbles stood straight and merely stared straight ahead, a poker face on. They all held hands, staying connected together, like they did since their birth. That was until they each met their soul mates, their counterparts, their true loves, The RRB. 5 years of their disappearance made them different. Each of these girls changed differently.
A/N: To understand this story better and not misinterpret characters, I provide you short backstories of what happened over 5 years to the girls. The RRB's backstories will be given later when required.
Blossom: She had toughened over time as what happened to Buttercup made her overprotective. She was confident and a lot like Buttercup when she was younger. She was still into studying but she didn't love it like before. She missed Brick, still hoping to meet him. She still thought about him but didn't talk about him to her sisters as they had different opinions about the RBB.
Buttercup: She expericend a terrible 5 years. Butch would always protect her from all the perverts and make her feel loved. After they left, Mitch raped her and then Ace did too. She was broken and eventually got raped constantly. She had trouble with anyone touching her other than her sisters. She despises Butch for leaving her like that. She became emotional and vulnerable. She lost her toughness over time and became the weak link of the group which had a role in her sister's changes.
Bubbles: This girl hadn't changed much. She was still tryna be positive and happy but was no longer babyish and a crybaby. She had matured and was paying attention to her life. She often distracted herself with homework and clubs. She missed Boomer but hated him for leaving. She had mixed feelings but also loathed Butch for leaving BC. She is the one who makes the decisions for the family like Blossom once did.
