"Now Allison, Chase and his family are actually really nice people," my mother cautioned me as I stomped into the living room.

Words seemed to fail me, which trust me never happens.

"Did I hear you say something about Blackout Records?" the man sitting next to my father, I presumed that would be Chase's father, "I'm Jim Storm, owner of Blackout Records."

I nearly passed out there, I was having trouble breathing, "you have got to be fucking kidding me."

"Allison," My father shot me a look.

"Aren't arranged marriages like illegal now or something?" I said out of the blue.

"No, just frowned upon," Chase answered shooting me a wink.

I began to laugh hysterically, everyone's eyes landed on me, "Ally?"  My older brother Joe said walking down the stairs and looking at me. He was the only one of my older brothers left, they were all away at college, and he was also gay.

"This is really funny," I looked up meeting Joe's eyes.

"You have officially gone crazy Ally," he shook his head and walked into the kitchen. What is this? He took this all so much better than me; he didn't even look up from his stupid video games when I told him.

"I HAVE THE BEST IDEA EVER!" I jumped up off my perch in front of the fireplace.

"Yes Allison?" my father said sighing.

"JOE'S GAY, HE CAN MARRY CHASE!" I saw it all flash through my brain, the two of them getting married on a beach in Hawaii and adopting little African babies!

"I'm not gay!" chase looked appalled.

"Could've fooled me," I mumbled sitting back down.

"Allison, really that's enough, I want you to go up to your room and pack your bags for New York," he ordered with a tone of finality.

"Why don't you go help her Chase," his mother said as I walked up the stairs.

Without a hint of hesitation I heard a set of feet follow mine up the stairs.

"I can't believe this is happening," I muttered to myself, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes.

"You know I don't expect you to break up with your boyfriend right?" Chase said walking into my room.

"Thanks," I mumbled quickly wiping my eyes and grabbing my black and white polka dot suitcases.

"I'm not going to break up with my flavor of the month either," his voice turned snide.

"Okay?" truthfully, I didn't actually care.

"Hurry up and pack, I don't have forever you know?" he sounded bored.

"What the hell is your problem?" I stopped shoving clothes into a suitcase and whipped my head around to him.

"You think I'm actually going to be nice to you, yeah right. That's just an act for the parental units. Truthfully, I probably hate you more than you hate me.

"Fuck you," I told him picking up a small bag and shoving my make up into it.

"Don't tempt me with a good time," he said rudely.

"Pig," I said under my breath as I shoved more clothes into a suitcase.

"Carry this downstairs," I ordered him handing him a suitcase.

"Don't tell me what to do," he said snidely, but still took the suitcase.

Soon after he left my room I heard something tumbling down the stairs and I ran from my room.

"I HATE YOU!" I screamed at chase as I saw all my clothes spewed down the stairs and in a heap at the bottom.

"It was an accident," Chase looked down feigning hurt.

"Accident my ass," I told him.

"ALLISON! THAT IS ENOUGH, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. NOW CLEAN IT UP!" my father yelled at me.

This marriage, I internally cringed at the word, is going to be awesome! Sarcasm will be my only friend from now on.
